Electives

The Indian School of Business (ISB) offers more than 70 electives. During the last four terms, students can opt to take 16 to 19 elective credits. Registration for courses is through a bidding process, a global best practice followed by many international business schools. Courses are combined to offer students the following six concentrations or majors:

  • Entrepreneurship
  • Finance
  • Information and Technology Management
  • Operations Management
  • Marketing
  • Strategy and Leadership

Certain elective courses, which are more popular with students, will be offered in more than one term.

The Independent Study Programme (ISP) allows students to explore areas of interest which are not covered in the curriculum. Students can select a topic and then enrol for the ISP under the guidance of a faculty member. Students can take two such programmes from Term 5 to Term 8.

Elective Courses for Academic Year 2012-2013 wil be updated soon.
