AIKYA Family Network

While a one-year programme has the benefits of a quicker education and a lower opportunity cost, the rigorous pace of life does not allow for many trips home. AIKYA, the host family network, is a unique way of bonding between students and families in Hyderabad. Each year, host families welcome students into their homes over weekends, term breaks, and festive occasions. With five or six students per family, about 60 families are part of AIKYA.

As many members of the AIKYA network are prominent business leaders, you also get to interact with some of the best minds in corporate India on a personal level. You are also invited to participate in special family celebrations such as weddings, giving you a feel of Hyderabad's resplendent culture. It also familiarises you with the Hyderabadi way of life through festivals, holidays, and weekend get-togethers. Host families, in turn, are invited to events at the Indian School of Business (ISB) each year. Some bonds are so strong that students stay in touch with the host families even after graduating.
