International Exposure
The Indian School of Business (ISB) believes that international exposure is the key to success in today's economy. It is important for students to appreciate cultural differences and gain insights on foreign policies. This gives them a better understanding of the global marketplace.
International exposure is built into the School’s system through:
- Our faculty who have gained experience from some of the leading business schools and corporations. With the School gaining international recognition, many research scholars from around the world visit the ISB on long-term sabbaticals. Visiting faculty from Wharton, Kellogg, London Business School, Cornell, Chicago, Duke, and UCLA, among others, teach at the ISB.
- Our students who bring a unique flavour to the campus with graduate degrees in various fields and international work experience.
- Our programmes, such as the International Student Exchange Programme, that give students an opportunity to study for two terms at other leading business schools. The ISB has partnerships with 37 leading schools from the U.S., France, South Africa, Israel, Germany, China, Pakistan and the U.K. for exchange programmes. Visiting students add to the diversity and peer learning experience on campus. Over the past few years, students from over 18 countries have visited the ISB as exchange students.
- Study Treks, which enable students to ideate with academics and bureaucrats, network with the industry leaders and experience different cultures in a short span of one week. Read more about the ISB South East Asia Trek 2009.
- International conferences and workshops, which draw thought leaders, policy makers and academics from the global business community.
- Our alumni, drawn from different countries across the world, make the ISB student body a truly global peer group.
