Placement Process
The entire placement process takes three-to-four months. Through a series of on-campus presentations and hundreds of job postings, you students have the opportunity to learn about recruiting companies from India and across the world. Placements commence with a series of pre-placement talks (PPT) by recruiters to the student body. The talks pertain to the organisation, their philosophy and their expectations. Students respond by submitting 'expressions of interest (EOI)' to them.
On their part, recruiters select suitable candidates, draw up a shortlist and inform the Career Advancement Services (CAS) team, who in turn communicate the same to the students. They then hold interviews on campus and make offers. Recruiters can also conduct off-campus interviews with students in special cases. The bulk of the placement process is during a ten-day window. However, the final interviews and placements continue for more than a month.
The CAS team equips students with the tools needed to leverage effectively upon their key strengths and previous work experience so that they secure the jobs of their choice. The CAS office makes students better prepared for leadership rolesby providing:
- Constructive critique on resumes
- Interview skills
- Psychometric profiling
- Guidance in soft skills
