| Pre-Term |
Students come to the ISB from diverse educational backgrounds and industries. Many have been away from academics for some years. To enable a smooth transition back to academics and learning, the ISB offers a week-long preparatory course to help students get acquainted with the new surroundings, new community, a new way of life and most importantly the course and teaching style at the ISB.
The pre-term is an intensive programme, with three modules covering Quantitative Methods, Accounting, and Business Statistics. These courses are optional. However, the faculty will not repeat these topics in the elective and core courses.
Orientation
Orientation emphasises teamwork and class spirit through a variety of social and recreational activities. Students spend their time registering for courses, settling down, and familiarising themselves with Hyderabad, the School, and one another.
