After having worked as an Engineer in road sector in both private as well as public domain, I wanted to learn more about the business aspects of the infrastructure sector to get into the strategic decision making positions. ISB gives me a platform to zoom ahead at a very fast pace, while investing only 1 year of my life as opposed to 2 years, besides giving me access to some of the best faculty from world over, and a cohort with significant work experience that ensures less noise and more content.
What are your responsibilities and focus areas this year?
My responsibilities are coordination and organisation of all social events, as well as social clubs. Focus area would be inclusiveness. This would include making the relatively less social populace a part of more social events, organising more events which incorporate cultures from countries of the international students in our class among other things.

What is it that you want to learn and become more proficient at during your stay at the ISB?
I wish to learn how to delegate more and micromanage less during this one year
What suggestions would you like to give to a prospective student about ISB?
Focus on learning and not scoring grades. There is much to learn from your cohorts, so don't spend too much time cooped up inside the library and books. Sleep a little less if that means getting to know your classmates a little better. You get only 1 year in this paradise, make the most of it.
