| Spouse and Families Association |
The Spouse and Families Association (SFA) provides support and social opportunities for spouses, partners and families of students of ISB. From exploring job opportunities for spouses to social and cultural events, SFA has a wide range of activities.
Pot-luck meals on birthdays, shopping trips to town, outings for children or a visit to a new restaurant – are some of the lighter moments in SFA. Festivals and holidays are celebrated on a community level fostering a family ethos. ‘Moods at ISB’ is the apt name given to the ISB Photography and Painting competition for the ISB community to capture the spirit on the campus.
The SFA also organizes outreach initiatives. Akshar – an adult education programme for local workers was started in 2003. The money for their books and writing materials is raised through recycling newspapers. Many other events are organized from time to time – like the health camp for garden workers on campus. |
