ISB’s name is synonymous with quality management education and launching pioneering programmes. PGPMAX, the second Post Graduate Programme in Management from the ISB, is designed especially for fast rising senior executives who want to pursue a formal quality management programme while they continue to work.

Classroom Based Learning
PGPMAX participants have the exciting opportunity to be back in the classroom among professional and intellectual peers, where they share the challenge of learning new methods and means for managing the business of doing business. Classes will be held at the Indian School of Business (ISB) Hyderabad campus for 7 days, every 6th week.

Classroom learning is at the heart of PGPMAX and is an important component of the learning experience. The class comprises an extraordinary and diverse mix of students who are passionate about exchanging ideas, thereby leading to a very interactive learning setting. The face-to-face delivery ensures optimal learning, where participants get the benefit of the experiences of their peers as well as instructors. This facilitates deeper bonding and a stronger network.

Travel From Anywhere
The location of participants is not a constraint as the unique schedule of PGPMAX allows participants based anywhere in the world to travel to Hyderabad to attend the programme. Hyderabad serves as an ideal location for this programme since it is well-connected to all parts of the world, with flying times of between 3 to 8 hours from most Asian and European cities. The current class will see participants flying in from the U.S., South Africa, Nigeria, Japan and Sri Lanka, apart from various cities in India.

No Opportunity Cost
Participants do not incur relocation costs and can continue working while pursing the course. Since there is no relocation involved, schooling of children and work schedules of spouses are not disrupted.

Learn from Thought Leaders
Senior faculty from the ISB, industry leaders, and experienced faculty from other global schools provide the latest in management education, often conducting classes based on their own, current research. They offer a unique combination of research-based rigour and relevant real-world application that is tailored for senior professionals. As a result, participants take what they have learnt to their organisations and apply the knowledge immediately.

International Immersion
The world is becoming increasingly global. Therefore, global business sensitivities need to be reinforced. PGPMAX includes an international immersion component, involving classroom teaching, industry visits, and top-management interaction, which builds these sensitivities and helps participants become global leaders. Participants visit the U.S. and Brazil, where they attend classes at leading global business schools, including Kellogg School of Management, The Wharton School and FDC, Brazil.

Exchange Programmes
PGPMAX participants have an opportunity to attend classes at schools that ISB has partnered for exchange programmes. Currently we have a partnership with Skolkovo - Moscow School of Business.

Leadership Development
PGPMAX participants have access to resources that will help them develop their leadership skills and realise their full potential. The training helps participants to develop and implement their leadership strategies. The programme includes personality assessments and imparting of leadership skills. The programme, however, does not offer campus placement services.
