He served as Chief Executive Officer of Deutsche Bank AG, India at Deutsche Bank AG until March 2012. He is an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad and the Wharton School, USA, joined IDBI Bank in August 2000 after a 17 year stint with the Citigroup, covering senior-level profit-centre responsibilities in India and New York. Recently in Feb. 2002 he was declared THE FINANCE PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR in the Banking Annual, 2002 released by Business Standard.
Meera Sanyal is the Chairperson and Country Executive for RBS Group in India. Prior to this, she was the Chief Operations Officer for the Asia Pacific region for RBS Group. In 2001, she set up ACES, the bank's Global Shared Services company. She joined RBS in 1992 to head up its Investment banking division from Lazard. She graduated with a B.Com degree from Sydenham College, Mumbai and then obtained an MBA from INSEAD, France. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and in 2006 completed an Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
Srinivasa Raju, Srini, is a Co-Founder and Managing Director at Peepul Capital LLC. Prior to founding the firm, from 1992 until 2003, he served as a Director at Satyam Computer Services, Ltd. and Chief Operating Officer at Satyam Computer Services Ltd. from 1992 until 2000. Additionally, Raju was the founding Chief Executive Officer and Director at Satyam Enterprise Solutions Ltd. From 1994 until 1996, he held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Satyam Software Ltd. (now known as Cognizant Technology Solutions). He has been a Director at Intelligroup Inc. since September 2004. Raju received a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering, with Honors, from R.E.C., Kurukshetra with and a Master’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Utah State University.
Janat Shah is the Director of IIM Udaipur. He has been a professor of Logistics and Supply Chain management at IIMB since 1991 and has been a visiting professor at Sloan School of Management, The Logistic Institute at National University Singapore and Nottingham University. He has also worked on many consulting projects for major corporate houses such as TATA, Mahindra and Mahindra, Infosys, IBM, Ingersoll Rand and Yokogawa Blue Star.

Prior to assuming his current role in 2009, Pradeep was associated with Royal/Dutch Shell, Crompton Greaves, Frontier Systems Inc Services Limited in USA, Europe and India for more than 20 years. Pradeep has been recognised amongst the top 50 most influential Asian American business people in USA and is viewed to be an industry leader in cancer care services space in India. Pradeep is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He was awarded the prestigious British Chevening scholar at the Leeds University Business School, Leeds, UK for an Advanced Management Programme in Leadership Development. In 1995, Pradeep was selected as the "Best Young Manager of India" by the All India Management Association, India.
Shelly Batra is a renowned gynecologist and obstetrician in New Delhi. She has a deep desire to serve the community. She has worked pro-bono treating under-served members of her community and is actively engaged in the dissemination of medical information with many television stations and newspapers and written two books for Penguin Publishers. For the past two decades, she has been providing consultations and performing free surgeries for the poor. Shelly has appeared on radio and television both in the U.S. and India. Shelly writes columns regularly in all leading Indian newspapers and has written two very successful books. Shelly has lectured at many leading institutions including the University of Chicago. She is also Fellow Guide and Professor for DNB and medical students in the gynecology department at Batra Hospital, the largest private hospital in New Delhi, India. Shelly obtained her MD and MBBS degrees from King George’s Medical College, Lucknow, India.

Steve has a career that is both commercial and academic. Outside of Wharton, Steve is Venture Partner, Burrill & Company, a merchant bank and venture capital fund focused on the life sciences and health care. His role there is general management of overseas venture capital funds, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region. Academically, he currently holds an appointment as Lecturer, Wharton Entrepreneurial Programs and Senior Fellow, Wharton Health Care Management. Steve’s primary areas of research coincide with his venture activity: health care and biotech capacity building in the emerging markets; private equity and venture capital approaches to economic development; and, the role of the private sector in addressing needs in global health. During his private sector career, Steve has been involved in the creation or funding of nearly 40 biotechnology, Internet, and information technology companies globally. He is on numerous Boards of Directors including HealthRight International, the Center for Medicine in the Public Interest, and serves as a senior advisor to Mitsubishi Corporation’s Life Science Business Unit, and the Royal Bank of Canada Strategic Technology Fund.
Lawton Robert Burns, Ph.D., MBA, is the Chair of the Health Care Management Department, the James Joo-Jin Kim Professor, a Professor of Health Care Management, and a Professor of Management in the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is also Director of the Wharton Center for Health Management & Economics. He received his doctorate in Sociology and his MBA in Health Administration from the University of Chicago. Dr. Burns teaches courses on healthcare strategy, strategic change, strategic implementation, organisation and management, managed care, and integrated delivery networks. Dr. Burns also received an Investigator Award from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to study the reasons for failure in organisational change efforts by healthcare providers. He is a past member of the Grant Review Study Section for the Agency for Health Care Policy & Research, and a past board member of the Health Services Section of the Institute of Medicine. He is also a Life Fellow of Clare Hall at the University of Cambridge. Dr. Burns has analyzed physician-organisation integration over the past twenty-five years. In recognition of this research, Dr. Burns was named the Edwin L. Crosby Memorial Fellow by the Hospital Research and Educational Trust in 1992. Dr. Burns has also published several papers on the structure and performance of physician networks, the market forces that shape the growth of group practices and investor-owned networks. He has also spent the last 13 years studying the healthcare supply chain.
Manmohan S Sodhi recently joined the Indian School of Business (ISB) as Executive Director of the BML Munjal Global Manufacturing Institute and Visiting Clinical Professor in the Operations Management group. He retains his position as Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management at Cass Business School, City University, London. Professor Sodhi received his PhD in Management Science from the Anderson School of Management, UCLA in 1994. Subsequently, he taught operations management at the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan, where his research in the trucking industry was funded by the Sloan Foundation. Prior to joining Cass Business School in August 2002, Professor Sodhi was Vice President at a software company based in San Jose. Previously, he worked as Director for enterprise e-business strategy at Scient and, prior to that, as Manager in the Supply Chain Practice at Accenture. He has worked with clients in a variety of industries including consumer electronics, commodity and specialty chemicals, petroleum products distribution, hospitality industry procurement, and airlines.
