Professor Chandan Chowdhury
Interim Executive Director - Punj Lloyd Institute

Dr. Chowdhury comes with an extensive experience of ~ 30 years spanning across the academic as well the corporate sectors. He has been associated with NITIE ((National Institute of Industrial Engineering) as a Professor, Dean (Academy), Chairman (Board of Research) and Member (Board of Governors) and spent about 10 years before moving to IFS Solutions India Pvt Ltd (a Swedish multinational) initially as a Director and later on as a CEO and Director wherein he spent a little over 10 years.
 
Prior to joining ISB, Dr Chowdhury served Dassault Systèmes , initially as the Managing Director of Dassault Systèmes India and subsequently Vice President (Global Affairs & Business Development). He was instrumental in developing and expanding the company's footprint across several sectors in corporate, government and academic sectors. Before joining Dassault Systemes, Dr. Chowdhury was associated with IBM as the Country Manager, Software Group, Strategic Accounts.
 
Dr. Chowdhury did his MS in Mechanical Engineering and has a double Doctorate. He has been the recipient of numerous awards, and his special areas of interest are innovation and ‘Technology Enabled Business Transformation”. He is passionate about leveraging technology to make the world a better place to live in.
 

Kinshuk Saurabh
Associate Director

Kinshuk is an FPM (PhD) in Finance & Entrepreneurship from IIM Ahmedabad. He teaches Real Estate Finance & Investments, Real Estate Economics, Project/Infrastructure Finance, and Management of Family Business.

His academic research focuses upon studying frictions- agency conflict, asymmetric information, and moral hazard - and incentive/contracts at the intersection of finance theory, organizational economics, and strategy of family firms. The topics pertain to governance, board effectiveness, CEO behavior, capital structure, distress/bankruptcy, ownership and performance of family firms. On the industry side, Kinshuk's research pertains to real estate/infrastructure, and renewable energy. 

Kinshuk has more than 10 year industry experience related to private equity, policy advisory, and project management in real estate and infrastructure. He has led BOT/PPP contracts, feasibilities studies & project appraisal assignments and has managed projects in residential & commercial buildings, flyovers, highways, and a sports complex. He regularly conducts industry workshops, and speaks at conferences/panel discussions.


Ashish Mohan
Analyst An urban planner by profession, Ashish has previously worked on multiple projects on affordable housing with SDI/AC together (Kampala-Uganda), Micro Home Solutions and DBS affordable home strategy. Ashish has completed his Bachelors in Planning from School of Planning & Architecture, Vijayawada and did his M.Sc in Urban and Ecological Planning from Norwegian Technological National University-Trondheim Norway. He never misses his chance of showing of skills on Piano/keyboard and love coding whenever he gets time. 
Suprotim De
TA cum Analyst Suprotim is an Analyst cum TA in Punj Lloyd institute. He did his MBA in oil and gas from upes Dehradun. Before joining ISB he worked with Mazars UK as a financial analyst providing audit, advisory and consultancy services for infrastructure and energy projects in  Europe. He has interests in big data, SAP ERP, virtualization and cloud computing. His hobbies include Quizzing, Debating and excel coding.
Tryambakesh Shukla
TA cum Analyst Tryambakesh has an academic background in Urban Planning – Bachelor of Planning from School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi and M.Sc. in Urban Ecological Planning from NTNU, Norway. Prior to Joining ISB, he was associated with Kathmandu Valley Development Authority, an entity under Ministry of Urban Development in Nepal. He was also a part of Research Team with Institute of Disaster Management for Urban Cultural Heritage, Ritsumeikan University. With his professional and academic background he has an inclination towards understanding and unpacking the issues of sustainable urban growth by looking into dynamics of society, policy, technology, economics and their interactions in shaping the future.  

Vignesh M
TA cum Analyst
An Electronics and Communication Engineer by profession, he was associated with infrastructure projects which encouraged him to complete his Masters in Infrastructure Management from School of Management of Infrastructure and Development Studies, Bangalore in 2011. Post his masters, he has worked with PURA and Social Work projects from the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India. His experiences with MARG and Mahindra Consulting Engineers saw him take to the roles of Client Management, Project Research and Documentation, Bid Process and Contract Management in various Urban/ Rural Infrastructure projects including UNIDO promoted projects in Africa and the Middle East. His Academic/ Research interests include Urban/ Rural Infrastructure Planning, Project Management, Geographic Information Systems, Public Private Partnership Projects and Contract Management.
 
Sonia Sharma
Associate Sonia Sharma is currently working as an Associate at the Punj Lloyd Institute. Prior to joining at ISB, she has worked with Smart Data Enterprises India Ltd. as Admin. Executive for 3 years. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Airlines Tourism Hospitality Management and a MBA from Punjab Technical University and a Diploma in Computer Applications. Her hobbies include dancing and cooking.
Asis Sidhu
Manager Asis has 12 years of experience in the corporate sector in Marketing, Corporate Communication, Event & Brand Management and Advertising & Media Planning. Prior to joining ISB, he worked with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) where he conceptualized, executed events and was responsible for handling the membership base in Punjab. His hobbies include reading and watching sports.
