Submission

The 5th ISB – POMS workshop aims to showcase cutting edge practice and academic research in the area of Technology based innovations and impact on supply chains. We invite submissions on topics such as, but not limited to, innovative business models e.g., Uber, Airbnb, that are enabled by technology, applications of technology in areas such as healthcare delivery, non-profit and public sector operations, retail operations, service operations, inventory management, the impact of digitization on performance of supply chains, supply chain analytics. All analysis methodologies (analytical modeling, empirical modeling, experiments) are welcome and the emphasis is on rigorous execution of these methodologies and practical relevance of the results.

Submission guidelines: To be considered for the workshop, authors are requested to upload an extended abstract by September 17th, 2017 using the paper submission link provided on the right.

The extended abstract should include a brief description of the research problem, the key methodology used and assumptions, and a summary of main results and policy / managerial implications. The abstract should not exceed four pages, in Times New Roman, font size 12, and can be submitted in Word or .pdf format. Submissions will be peer-reviewed and final decisions regarding all acceptances will be communicated by October 8, 2017. Limited financial support will be provided to the presenters.
