- The teams should get themselves registered on the
Poseidon website.
- The event is divided into two phases
Phase 1: Preliminary Round
The online marketing quiz was conducted on November
30, 2005.
There will be 5 teams selected in this round which
will be invited to participate in Phase 2. The results
of the first round shall be announced on December 02,
2005.
Phase 2: Final Round
This event shall be conducted on the ISB Campus on
December 16th, 2005. Each team will be shown 5 campaigns/pieces
of communication and will be asked to answer a few questions
such as:
- What is the problem/opportunity the advertising
is trying to address?
- What is the brand positioning statement ? (Who
am I? What makes me different?)
- What is the advertising positioning statement ?(Why
buy me?)
- Who is the consumer? ( Specific demographics and
psychographics)
- What is the key consumer insight the communication
strategy is based on?
Teams will be judged on the strength of their analysis
and presentation skills.
- Each team should comprise two members from the same
institute. No participant is allowed to be a member
of more than one team, failing which all the teams
to which this member belongs will be disqualified.
- There is no entry fee for this event.
- There is no restriction on the number of teams
that can participate from a given institute.
- Failure to abide by any of the rules shall lead
to disqualification of the team.
- The judges' decision shall be final and no dispute
regarding the same shall be entertained
