Here is a time to put these convictions to test.
Entrepreneurship & Venture Club at ISB brings to you
– TΣMPΣST Venture World. A Case
competition which not only challenges your analytical
skills & creativity but also your appreciation of
nuances involved in a startup environment.
The competition consists of two stages. First Round
The participating teams will have to analyze an entrepreneurship
case & submit the analysis through email. The submitted
material will be evaluated by a panel of judges chosen
from reputed companies & educational institutes and
by the Wadhwani Center for Entrepreneurship development
at ISB.
Second Round
Top 6 teams will be invited to participate in the
second round of Venture World at ISB campus during
Poseidon 2005. A new case related to Entrepreneurship
will be provided to the 6 teams for second round.
First
Prize: Rs. 25,000
Second Prize: Rs. 15,000
Third Prize: Rs. 10,000
General rules:
All full-time and part-time students enrolled in
a graduate program of business administration during
the academic year 2005-2006 are eligible to participate
in the competition.
Team formation rules:
Each team must consist of 2 to 4 members
All team members must be enrolled in the same business
administration program.
There is no limit on the number of entries per institute.
A participant cannot be member of more than one
team
Contest will be held in following stages: Stage 1:
Venture World Case I will be put up on the Poseidon
2005 website.
Participating teams have to present their analysis
in a maximum of 4 pages (excluding exhibits, cover
page) with 12 point Times New Roman, single line spacing
and page margins of 1” all around. It should preferably
be submitted in a PDF format.
Each entry should have a cover page containing (This
will be taken off before evaluation) - Name of the
institute - Names, telephone numbers, Email addresses
of all team members.

by 11:59 PM (IST) on November 30th 2005
The submitted material will be reviewed by a panel
of judges chosen from reputed companies and by the
Wadhwani Center for Entrepreneurship development,
ISB.
Results for this stage will be declared by December
3rd 2005.
Stage 2:
Top six teams from stage 1 will advance to stage
2
6 Shortlisted teams will be given a new entrepreneurship
related case at 9AM on Dec 17th 2005. Teams will have
4 hours to analyze the case & prepare a short presentation
on their recommendations. Each team will have 15 minutes
for their presentation & Q&A.
Further information on the second round will be
emailed to short-listed teams by Dec 7th/8th 2005
Top three teams will be selected for awards; please
find more details in “Prizes” section.
November
30: Submission of Case analysis by email.
December 3: Results for first round. Top six teams invited
to ISB. December 17: Second round of Venture World, at
Poseidon 2005 event. December 17: Final Results of Venture
World 2005.
