- What are the registration and accommodation charges
for Solstice?
Registration
The pure vanilla registration for Solstice is Rs. 1200/- per
person. All attending alumni are requested to register.
There is no charge for spouse and children below 12.
Accommodation Options
There are various accommodation options available at different rates. Please visit the registration page for
charges.
Description of the housing options are explained below:
Executive Housing Single Accommodation (Single person
standard accommodation at Executive Housing facilities)
Executive Housing Double Accommodation (Double person
standard accommodation at Executive Housing facilities)
SV Quad - Male/Female (1 room in a quad totally
available to yourself. Arrangement will be made to
accommodate 2 individuals, normally spouse, family or kids.)
SV Quad sharing with Student (1 room in a quad will
be shared between an alum and a student)
SV Quad sharing with an Alum (This is similar to SV
Quad option, except that 2 alums can register separately or
together, and will be put up together in a quad. In this
case, both alums will need to pay 700 each to book the
room.)
- Do I have to pay anything for my spouse/partner?
There are no separate registration charges except for
accommodation and food. You can purchase extra food coupons
from café for your spouse/partner.
- Why is priority being given to families for Executive
Housing accommodation?
Spouses and families (especially young children) of
alumni who are attending Solstice may not wish to, or even
be able to, participate in all the activities. Executive
Housing is the nearest accommodation option, and also gives
easy access to campus facilities such as the new playground
or toddler’s room.
- What is the cancellation policy for accommodation?
Bookings for accommodation in the Executive Housing have
to abide by cancellation policies of the same. Cost of stay
on campus can be cancelled and a refund can be availed at
any time. However, the registration fee of Rs. 1200/- will
not be refunded for any cancellations after Dec 5, 2008.
- What are the events planned for Solstice?
Please check the Solstice agenda for event details. The
organisers are also planning some surprise events which will
not be revealed until the appropriate time.
