Welcome to the 2012 ISB-IBM Workshop on Service Science!


IBM defines Service Science as the study of service systems -- configurations of people, technologies, and other resources that interact with each other to create value. The two-day workshop on service science, co-sponsored by the Srini Raju Center for IT & the Networked Economy (SRITNE), ISB and IBM Research Ltd. will invite leading academicians conducting cutting edge research in service science, faculty members and graduate students from ISB and affiliate universities, and researchers from IBM. The workshop will provide a forum for quality academic discussions and interactions with industry on topics pertaining to service quality management, governance challenges and solutions, human capital performance, emerging service delivery models, solutions for growth industries and assessing the business value of services.

The workshop will include a keynote presentation by an industry leader, round table discussions on key issues in service science and featured academic presentations.
