Srini Raju is the Managing Director and
Co-Founder of Peepul Capital (formerly
known as iLabs Capital). Peepul Capital
manages over $400 million of
institutional and general partner’s
capital across two funds. Peepul Capital
has initiated or funded and supported
over 20 companies during the past
decade. Some of these companies have
grown into world class organisations,
employing over 15000 employees. It
specialises in transforming professional
managers into entrepreneurs.
Before Starting Peepul Capital, Raju was
associated with Cognizant Technologies
Services and Satyam Enterprise Solution
as CEO and Satyam Computer Services as
COO. Raju has received a Bachelor of
Science degree in Civil Engineering,
with Honours, from REC (NIT),
Kurukshetra and a Master’s degree in
Civil and Environmental Engineering from
Utah State University.
Savita
Mahajan
Associate Dean, Indian School of

Savita Mahajan is the Associate Dean,
Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. She has been associated with the ISB
since its inception in 2001.
After obtaining an undergraduate degree
in Economics from Delhi University,
Mahajan did her MBA from the Indian
Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, in
1981. Since then, she has worked in
several diverse industry sectors,
carried out consulting and training
assignments for corporations and
development organisations. Her

Umesh Jain is the President & Chief
Information Officer (CIO) at YES BANK.
He also heads the combined Technology
and Business Solutions Group.
Umesh has around 16 years of national
and international experience across USA,
Europe, Middle East and Africa, and has
managed highly visible, multi geography
strategic projects and programs.
Prior to joining YES BANK, Umesh was
with Citi for 13 years. In his last role
at Citi, he was one of the founding
members & the Business Head - Corporate
and Investment Banking Technologies at
Citigroup IT Operations and Solutions (CITOS).
Umesh specializes in weaving technology
strategies together with business
strategy, has in-depth understanding of
BFSI domain, very strong at execution
and excels at building high performance
teams.
Umesh is a B Tech in Manufacturing
Sciences and Engineering from the IIT,
Delhi.
Hari Kumar
Managing Director, Deloitte, US

Hari Kumar is a principal with Deloitte
Consulting LLP. He is currently the
regional managing director for Deloitte
U.S. in India.
Kumar brings over 13 years of consulting
and leadership experience. He started
his career with KPMG, and later founded
the company eWaken, a specialised
management consulting firm. In 2002,
eWaken was named Oracle Corporation’s
‘Partner of the Year’.
Kumar was named as one of the top 50
Indian entrepreneurs in the US by
Silicon India magazine. He has an
extensive experience across several
industries, including the Technology,
Media, and Telecommunications industry
and consumer and industrial products.
Flt Lt Bipin Pendyala
Vice President and Site Manager, CA
Flt Lt Bipin Pendyala is the Vice
President and Site Manager for CA India
Technology Center (ITC) in Hyderabad.
Pendyala holds responsibility for
managing the operations of the center
which engages more than 1500 software
and support engineers.
Pendyala has close to 18 years of work
experience with the recent 12 years in
the software industry with a good track
record in leveraging offshore
development for product and services
delivery to global clients.
Pendyala is actively involved in the
industry forums and holds positions with
various organizations.
Pendyala has a bachelor’s degree in

Kush Desai
Managing Director, SAP Labs India pvt
ltd.
Kush Desai is the Managing Director of
SAP Labs India. In this capacity, Desai
is the legal representative for SAP Labs
India and is responsible for delivering
operational services. Additionally, he
is also a key member of the global SAP
Labs network.
Prior to joining SAP, Desai held key
positions in some of the renowned
financial services firms, start-ups and
manufacturing majors. A qualified
chartered accountant since 1994 and with
13 years experience in the field of
Finance, Desai has all along been the
promoter of and a benchmark for high

Shrihari Kulkarni
VP Projects and New Initiatives, Comat Technologies Pvt Ltd
Shrihari Kulkarni plans, monitors
and maintains relationships with
stakeholders of all key projects for
Comat. He also spearheads new
initiatives and strategies. Earlier
Kulkarni served as the Chief Financial
Officer for Comat.
Prior to joining Comat, Kulkarni was at
a Venture Capital Fund managed by a
wholly owned subsidiary of an all India
financial institution. Kulkarni is a
rare combination of excellence in
Engineering, Management and Finance. He
graduated from the London School of
Economics where he was enrolled on a
Chevening scholarship. Kulkarni also
completed his BTech in Agricultural
Engineering from Rahuri, Maharastra and
his PGDM from IIM-Ahmedabad.
Manish Sabharwal
Chairman and Co-founder, TeamLease
Services Private Ltd

Manish Sabharwal is currently the
Chairman and Co-Founder of Teamlease
Services, India’s largest temporary
staffing firm. The four year old firm
now has over 80,000 employees in 870
cities across India. Earlier he
co-founded India Life, an HR outsourcing
company in 1996 that was acquired by
Hewitt associates in 2002. Sabharwal
serves on the Prime Ministers Council
for Skill Development and was a member
of the Planning Commission steering
committee on labour and employment for
the eleventh five year plan.
Sabharwal got his MBA from The Wharton
School and undergraduate degree in
commerce from Shriram College, Delhi.
S Sivakumar
Chief Executive, Agri business divison,
eChoupal, ITC Ltd
S Sivakumar is the Chief Executive of
the Agri Business Division. He has been
with ITC since 1989 and has worked in
the Company's erstwhile International
Exports Business before moving to the
Agri Business Division. Topper of the
Class of 1983 from the Institute of
Rural Management (IRMA), he served a
farmers' cooperative in the oilseeds
sector for six years before joining ITC.
Sivakumar is on the Boards of ITC
Infotech India Ltd and the National Bank
of Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD).
He is also on the Management Committees
of several industry bodies.
Dr Balaji Utla
CEO, HMRI
Dr
Balaji Utla has about 24 years of
experience spanning industry and
academia in the areas of learning,
organisation development and strategy
and corporate social responsibility.
Since January 2007 Utla is the CEO of
Health Management and Research Institute
(HMRI). HMRI aims to provide
outcome-oriented management to enhance
access and utilisation of health
services through IT-enabled support to
policy makers, government and private
healthcare providers, and teaching and
training institutions.
Further, he has worked as associate
professor in the Department of Business
Management, Osmania University from
1984-1993.

Anant Krishnan is the Lead for Telecom
Outsourcing portfolio at the Accenture
Delivery Centre for Technology in India.
As part of this role, he is responsible
for the delivery of all the engagements
within this portfolio of global telecom
clients as well as supporting growth.
Krishnan has over 21 years of IT
industry experience - in the areas of
project and programme management,
account management, business development
and solution delivery. He holds a
mechanical engineering degree from NIT,
Surat and is PMP certified.

Bipin Paracha is currently Partner at

teams of 240+ members. In addition,

Narsimha M
VP and Centre Head, Infosys, President-
HYSEA

Narsimha Rao is the President for
ITsAP (formerly HYSEA - the Industry
body representing the IT/ITES industry
in the state of Andhra Pradesh with over
300 member companies).
He is also associated with Infosys as
the Vice President. He heads the Infosys
centre in Hyderabad. He also heads the
Global Delivery Organisation for the
Independent Validation Solutions
Business unit of Infosys. He has been
with Infosys for eight years now and has
played multiple roles. He has been an
active member of the management
activities of the Hyderabad Centre of
Infosys and has been part of its growth
since almost its inception in Hyderabad.
Prior to Infosys, Rao has had rich
experience of working in varied
industries
Rao has done his MBA education from XLRI,
Jamshedpur. He is a certified Project

Bernard Tan
Professor ,National University of
Singapore
Bernard Tan is a Professor in the
Department of Information Systems at the
National University of Singapore (NUS).
He received his PhD (1995) in
Information Systems from NUS.
Tan has served as Head of the Department
of Information Systems (2002 - 2008) and
Assistant Dean of the School of
Computing (2000 - 2002) at NUS. He is
currently serving on the University
Committee on Educational Policy (2008 -
2010), the University Town Educational
Technology Committee (2008 - 2010), the
University IT Governance Review
Committee (2009 - 2010), and an Expert
Panel of the University Research
Committee (2006 - 2010).
T P Liang
Professor ,National Sun Yat-sen
University
T P Liang is a
Professor of Information Systems at
National Sun Yat-sen University in
Taiwan and visiting at Chinese
University of Hong Kong. Prior to the
current position, he had taught at the
University of Illinois and Purdue
University in the United States.
In the past Liang was extensively
involved in the development of
e-commerce in Taiwan. In addition to
incubating and providing consultation to
e-business companies, he is on the
electronic commerce advisory boards of
the Ministry of Economic Affairs and
Ministry of Finance of Taiwanese
Government. Academically, he is on the
editorial board of the International
Journal of Electronic Commerce and
has published many articles in the area.
K K Wei
Dean, City University of Hong Kong
K K Wei is Dean and Chair Professor
of Information Systems in the College of
Business at the City University of Hong
Kong. He is Fellow of the Association of
Information Systems (AIS) and he was the
President of that Association in
2003-2004.
Before joining City University, Wei was
a Professor and founding Head of the
Department of Information Systems at the
National University of Singapore. He has
a strong research culture and initiated
major research efforts that resulted in
both departments being placed among the
top 15 IS departments worldwide.
Wei has published more than 140 journal
and conference papers. He is actively
pursuing research on e-commerce,
knowledge management and supply chain
management systems.
Srilata Zaheer
Associate Dean for faculty and research,
University of Minnesota
Srilata Zaheer is a Professor and Chair
of the Department of Strategic
Management and Organisation at the
Carlson School of Management, University
of Minnesota. Zaheer, who holds a
Carlson School professorship, is one of
the 60 active AIB Fellows.
Zaheer received her doctorate in
International Management from the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology
(MIT), and her MBA from the Indian
Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. She
is the author of over 30 publications
and the recipient of several academic honours, including two previous awards
from the AIB.
Her research interests focus on
international strategy and organisation,
and in particular on the influence of
technology on global organisation, and
the legitimacy of multinational
corporations. Her most recent work
focusses on offshore outsourcing in the
software industry and on the impact of
distance on knowledge acquisition and
dissemination.
