Core Courses
The ability to think "like an entrepreneur" has become a
core skill of the "managerial mind", and entrepreneurial
management the quintessence of "good management practice".
The ISB is one of the few management institutes that require a compulsory core course in Entrepreneurship for the PGP programme. The objective of this course will be to challenge students to think about how one can create, finance, and build a productive business organisation with commonly available resources.
Elective Courses
To effectively develop the special skills that are required of a business leader, conceptual inputs on enterprise creation and management must be supported by practical insights. The elective courses offered for the PGP programme act as value additions to the base knowledge of students as they are supplemented with live presentations by entrepreneurs. Students who pass six of these electives have the added advantage of securing a major in Entrepreneurship.
Following are the elective courses related to entrepreneurship:
Special Learning Modules
These modules are conducted by industry experts for students of the postgraduate programme in management who want a more thorough preparation for future careers in business.
They are designed to improve understanding on the various dynamics of business ventures and introduce students to a diverse set of business problems and how to address them.
