Dr. Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, Hon’ble
Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh formally inaugurated the
TiE – ISB Connect 2006 – India’s largest networking
event for entrepreneurs, investors and business leaders at
the ISB Campus in Hyderabad today. The conference is being
held from September 20 - 22, 2006. Shri M M Pallam Raju,
Hon’ble Minister of State for Defence, Govt. of India was
the guest of Honour. Sri B Ramalinga Raju, Chairman, Satyam
Computer Services Ltd, Sri Raju Reddy, TiE Global Support
Network, Dr M Rammohan Rao, Dean, ISB, were also present
during the power packed inaugural session.
The event began with a high powered “Jumpstart your
Venture” workshop customised for entrepreneurs with
innovative ideas followed by the inauguration of Venture
Showcase. For the first time, TiE – ISB Connect 06
will hold discussions on entrepreneurial opportunities in
5 new industry tracks. These new industry tracks are
Sports and Fitness, Retail, Media and Entertainment,
Infrastructure and Real Estate, Semiconductors. Along with
these there will be industry tracks on Biotech /
Pharmaceuticals, Internet Technologies, Technology, IT
Enabled Services.
