The Annual Business Plan Competition is a unique opportunity to showcase business ideas and receive feedback from an eminent panel of judges on the viability of the proposed business, and the actions to be taken to strengthen the proposals and implement them. The WCED and the EVC Club jointly organize the competition. Apart from providing mentoring support, the WCED team arranges interactions with experts from relevant fields who share their thoughts on the opportunities identified by the teams. WCED also arranges visits to various technology institutions for those teams seeking to exploit business opportunities using specific technologies. The periodic meetings of the EVC Club during which entrepreneurs share their experiences in managing the start-up and growth phases helps teams draw up realistic plans for exploiting the business opportunities identified. The winning team also gets to participate in the Moot Corp®, the biggest and oldest business plan in the world.
