The Wadhwani Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (WCED) was established and funded in 2001 by the Wadhwani Foundation, a philanthropic foundation of Romesh Wadhwani, the Silicon Valley, California-based entrepreneur, with the conviction that improved standard of living of a nation’s populace was directly tied to accelerating economic development.
