Chris. J Leach is Chair, Finance and Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship at the University of Colorado-Boulder, Leeds School of Business. His research interests are in the areas of corporate and venture financing, mergers and acquisitions, structure of securities markets, real options, information economics and game theory. Professor Leach is the recipient of the Trefftzs Award for Outstanding Research, Western Finance Association.
Prior to joining the University of Colorado, Professor Leach was an Assistant Professor at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He also worked as a Manager with John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company. He has the distinction of being a Faculty Associate with the Burridge Center for Securities Analysis and Valuation. He is co-founder and currently Chairman of the Board of ITM Corporation in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Professor Leach earned his Ph.D. in Finance and MS in Management from Cornell University.
