| Vinay B. Nair |
 Vinay B. Nair is an Assistant Professor of Finance in the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. His areas of research include corporate governance; finance and social effects; corporate finance and the economics of organizations and the implications of corporate finance for asset prices.
Prior to joining the Wharton School, Professor Nair was an Instructor at the Stern School of Business, New York University. His business experience includes working with the American Express Bank and Schlumberger.
Professor Nair has been the recipient of numerous professional and teaching awards such as David Graifman Award, New York University; Bogen Fellowship, New York University; Governor’s Gold Medal, Indian Institute of Technology, Madras; C.V. Sastry Vice-President of India Endowment Award, Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. He has a Ph.D in Finance from New York University and a B.Tech, degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. |
