The WCED is a hub from where new ideas and thinking about entrepreneurship gets disseminated. It provides a forum in which the latest research, ideas and issues animating the global business environment can be debated. Research programmes at the WCED have an application-oriented, multi-disciplinary approach. They focus on the importance of knowledge in fostering entrepreneurship in developing countries. This includes revalidation of existing theories, creation of new frameworks based on empirical studies and helping synthesize knowledge with practice.

Applied Research: Forum for Technology Innovations The Forum is an effort to foster real-life innovations from corporate employees outside their organisational boundaries and understand the constraints and the opportunities for programmed innovation development.
Dissemination of Research: The WCED disseminates research findings through published papers, working papers, seminars, and biennial research conferences.
