Vinod Dham is the Founder and Executive Managing Director of NEA-IndoUS Ventures, a cross-border India-US venture fund that leverages India's cost effective talent and high growth emerging market. He is also Co-Founder and Managing Director at NewPath Ventures, LLC, the first Indo-US venture capital fund focused on cross-border investments.
After 16 years at Intel Corporation where he managed the microprocessor business, Mr Dham joined a microprocessor start-up, "NexGen", as Chief Operating Officer. He was instrumental in redefining its processor’s direction and engineering its merger with Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). At AMD, Mr Dham oversaw the launch of K6, then the world's fastest windows processor. He then became Chairman, President and CEO of Silicon Spice, a start-up developing innovative "Voice over Internet (VOIP)" technologies. Silicon Spice was acquired by Broadcom Corporation.
In 1993, Mr Dham was named one of the top 25 executives in the US computer industry. In 1999, he was named one of the top 100 most influential Asian Americans of the decade. He also serves on the Boards of companies such as Satyam, Sasken, InSilica, Nevis, Telsima and Montalvo.
