Programme Overview
The objective of the WCED-AIESEC Entrepreneurship Initiative is to help entrepreneurs, who are currently working on a business concept, create/refine their business plan. The experience will help participants:

  • Develop a business plan

  • Analyse possible sources of funding

  • Write an executive summary

  • Give a two minute pitch

  • Identify an opportunity and evaluate the viability of the venture

Format

Online Mentoring

 
  • To make the most of the mentoring programme, participants will be provided with reading material that covers each functional area of the business plan.  After reading the material, participants will put together the business plan while reviewing and assessing the development with their mentor.

  • All participants who submit a complete business plan will receive complementary registration to TiE - ISB connect.  Selected business plans will be circulated among the community of angel investors, venture capitalists, and other delegates at TiE - ISB. For more information on

AIESEC members and alumni who are currently working on a business idea


Application Process
Applicants must submit the following information to wced_aiesec@isb.edu by April 6, 2007. All the application materials need to be sent together in a single email, excepting the application form, which must be submitted online.

  • Application form.  Click here to download an application form.

  • Description of business idea.  Include details regarding the problem, the solution, the competition, market size and team.  Please also include details regarding the stage the business is in (i.e. what progress has been made to date). Description of the business idea should not exceed 1 page in length. It should be printed on one side of the page, paper size A4 (8.5'x11'), Times New Roman 12ptfont, single spacing, with 1” margins all around.  Submit the business idea as a word document or a PDF file.

  • Executive summary.  For an outline of a typical executive summary click here.  Executive summary is optional

  • Résumé.  1 page maximum

Applicants will be notified of the selection results through email on May 7, 2007.  In order to maintain their delegate position at the camp, selected applicants have to confirm their acceptance to the WCED – AIESEC Entrepreneurship Initiative by May 11, 2007.
