Aditi Rao Hydari
Actor Aditi Rao Hydari needs no introduction. From introducing herself as a shy homemaker in the coming-of-age drama Delhi 6 to her breathtaking performance as young begum Hazrat in Fitoor, Aditi has established herself as one of the finest artists in this new generation of Indian cinema. Having began her career in the South Indian film industry, Aditi has starred in 20+ films, receiving critical acclaim for many and was honoured with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke excellence award for her performance in ‘Bhoomi’ in 2018. Aditi is also an accomplished dancer and a singer. She has recorded playback songs in some of her own movies such as ‘London, Paris, New York’. She is also an alma-mater of Lady Shri Ram College of University of Delhi.
Air Mshl (Dr) P Bandopadhyay
Retired from service Air Mshl (Dr) P Bandopadhyay is the first woman in the history of the Indian Air Force to hold the rank of Air Marshal and the second woman only to be promoted to a three star rank in the Defence services. She was born on 4th November, 1944 in Tirupathi, Andhra Pradesh and joined the Air Force in 1968 after an unconventional transition from the humanities to sciences. Interestingly, she is also an aviation medicine specialist, a member of the New York Academy of Sciences as well as the first lady to have conducted scientific research at the North Pole. She was awarded the Vishisht Seva Medal (VSM) for her conduct during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971.
Chhavi Rajawat
