Founder, SM Hoax Slayer I've always been an open minded, logical atheist looking for betterment of country.
The reason I started this was Fake News received in personal WhatsApp groups.
In 2015, I came across many fake messages in my personal groups e.g. An employee of a sof drink beverage unit, suffering from AIDS added his HIV +ve blood to the beverage so don't drink it or you will get it too.
Despite knowing it to be fake I searched on internet for proof/explanation
Searching for such Hoaxes always led me to international websites debunking Hoaxes, so I thought India needs one too and so I begun.
Currently SMHoaxSlayer Facebook page and twitter account is verified and followed by 50K people on average.
I've been recognized and appreciated by many media houses, mainstream in country and international houses e.g
NYtimes, LAtimes, Washington Post, DW and so on
In early 2016, fee media houses started picking up articles from my website, but SMHoaxSlayer was duly recognized post demonetization in India I.e. after Nov 2016.
There was a hoax that newly introduced 2000 currency note has a nano GPS chip which I called off then. This was noted by many media houses.
