Anindya Ghose
Heinz Riehl Chair Professor of Business at New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business Professor Anindya Ghose is a Professor of Information, Operations and Management Sciences and a Professor of Marketing at New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business. He is the co-Director of the Center for Business Analytics at NYU Stern, and the co-Chair of the NYU-AIG Partnership on Innovation for Global Resilience. He is the Robert L. & Dale Atkins Rosen Faculty Fellow and a Daniel P. Paduano Fellow of Business Ethics at NYU Stern. He has been a Visiting Associate Professor at the Wharton School of Business. He also serves as the main Scientific Advisor to 3TI China. He holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University.

Arun Pereira
Professor of Practice at the Asia School of Business and an International Faculty Fellow at MIT-Sloan Professor Pereira has over 30 years teaching and consulting experience in the US, Europe, and Asia. He has won multiple teaching awards in Executive MBA, and MBA programs including being voted the Outstanding Professor (twice) by executives of the Executive MBA program at the Boeing Institute of International Business, St. Louis University, USA and voted ISB’s Professor of the Year (twice) by the MBA students at ISB, India. His research in the area of marketing has appeared in various journals including Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, International Journal of Management Science (OMEGA), International Journal of Research in Marketing, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Product and Brand Management, Psychology and Marketing, Journal of Retailing, Industrial Marketing Management, and Journal of Business Ethics; his research in teaching and learning has appeared in various journals including the Learning Organization and International Journal of Training and Development.

Deepa Mani
Associate Professor, ISB; Executive Director, Srini Raju Centre for IT and the Networked Economy Professor Deepa Mani is an associate professor in the Information Systems group and Research Fellow at the Indian School of Business. She is the faculty coordinator for the IBM Research Collaboratory in service science at ISB. She holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems from The University of Texas at Austin.

Jitamitra Desai
Associate Professor, Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore

Professor Jitamitra Desai's research interests are primarily in mathematical/computational decision analytics, particularly in developing large-scale (big-data) optimization algorithms and their applications, notably in aviation, transportation and location theory, energy analytics, and wireless communication networks. Prof Desai also dabble in some miscellaneous OR problems arising in networks and graphs, stochastic decision analysis, and starting to dig into some biological applications.

John Tripp
Assistant Professor, Baylor University

John Tripp is Assistant Professor of MIS at Baylor University. Before coming to Baylor, John worked for more than 17 years in industry as a software developer, project manager, and IT Director. He successfully implemented systems that served users on four continents, many of which continue to serve their user base years after implementation.

Dr. Tripp completed his PhD at Michigan State University in 2012, completing his dissertation on the impacts of agile development methodology on project success. His research has appeared in the proceedings of the International Conference on Information Systems, the Americas Conference on Information Systems, and the Midwest Association of Information Systems Conference. His research is currently under review at MIS Quarterly, The Journal of the AIS, and Information Systems Journal, amongst others.

John has served as a reviewer for ICIS, ECIS, AMCIS, ACIS, HICSS, and the Scandinavian Journal of IS. He served as Review Coordinator for ICIS 2012.

Director, Center for Research and Analytics, H. Timothy (Tim) Harkins Centennial Professor, University Distinguished Teaching Professor Professor Kumar Muthuraman is Director, Center for Research and Analytics, H. Timothy (Tim) Harkins Centennial Professor, University Distinguished Teaching Professor. He received his Ph.D. from Stanford University.  Dr. Muthuraman’s research focuses on decision making under uncertainty. Application areas of interest to him are quantitative finance, operations management and health care.

Manish Gangwar
Associate Professor, ISB Manish Gangwar is a faculty member at Indian School of Business. Professor Gangwar holds a PhD in marketing from The University of Texas at Dallas. His research explores marketing issues using quantitative models. He has developed several theoretical models that have applications in designing optimal promotional strategies in frequently purchased goods and optimal pricing tariffs in service industry. Although, his research interest primarily lies in exploring pricing issues, he has also researched consumers’ store choice decisions, celebrity advertising in emerging markets, safety incentive programs in US construction industry and product recall communication strategies. He has an MS from the University of Kentucky, BE from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee and years of industry experience.

Assistant Professor, Information Systems at Indian School of Business Professor Rajib Saha is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems at the Indian School of Business (ISB). His current research interest includes network markets, group purchasing in healthcare, healthcare information systems, software product development, etc. Prior to joining ISB, he taught graduate level courses in the area of Operations Management and Information Systems at the University of Rochester, and worked in the IT industry for several years at organisations such as Oracle and Novell.

Ramabhadran Thirumalai
Senior Associate Dean, Academic Programmes, Clinical Assistant Professor - Finance Professor Ramabhadran S Thirumalai is a Senior Associate Dean, Academic Programmes and Clinical Assistant Professor - Finance at the ISB. He received his Ph D (Finance and Mathematics) from Indiana University. He is currently working on the impact of various regulatory changes on security market pricing, efficiency and liquidity. Prior to joining Google, he has worked as a Principal Dev. Manager at Microsoft (Bing) Hyderabad, Sr. Scientist at Yahoo! Labs Bangalore, and Principal Scientist at Fair Isaac Research in San Diego, USA. Dr. Kumar received his PhD in Computer Engineering in 2000 (with a specialization in statistical pattern recognition and data mining) and Masters in Computer Science in 1997 (with a specialization in artificial intelligence and machine learning), both from the University of Texas at Austin, USA.

Shashwat Alok
Assistant Professor Professor Alok received his PhD from Olin business School, Washington University in St Louis. His primary research interests are in the areas of Corporate finance. Specifically, he works on issues related to Financial Intermediation, Managerial compensation, Politics and Finance, Corporate Investments and Corporate Governance. His work has been accepted at various academic conferences including those hosted by the American Finance Association and European Finance association. Professor Alok has also worked on a consulting project for CitiMortgage which involved identifying the causes of strategic defaults by borrowers. Prior to his Ph.D., he graduated from the Manipal University in Computer Science and Engineering amongst the top of the graduating class.

Professor Sridhar Seshadri holds a Ph.D. at the University of California, Berkeley after graduating from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India and the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, India. He was a Professor of Information, Risk, and Operations Management at the University of Texas, Austin. Subodha Kumar
Professor of Supply Chain, Marketing, Information Systems, and Statistical Science Director, Center for Data Analytics, at Fox School of Business, Temple University

Prof. Kumar research and teaching interests include healthcare analytics, social-media analytics, web analytics, and cybersecurity, among others. Kumar has published numerous papers in high quality journals and conferences. In addition, he has authored a book, and co-authored book chapters, Harvard Business School cases, and Ivey cases. He also holds a patent. Kumar serves as the deputy editor of Production and Operations Management and a senior editor of Decision Sciences.

Prof. Kumar studied at the University of Texas at Dallas, where he earned his PhD and MBA. He also received a Master’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from BIT Sindri, both in India.

Sumit Kunnumkal
Associate Professor of Operations Management at the Smith School of Business Professor Sumit Kunnumkal is an Associate Professor of Operations Management at the Smith School of Business. He holds a Ph.D. in Operations Research from Cornell University. He received his M.S. in Transportation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.  He has previously taught at the Indian School of Business and has held visiting positions at Singapore University of Technology and Design and Universitat Pompeu Fabra.  His research interests lie in the areas of revenue management, retail operations, assortment planning, approximate dynamic programming and stochastic approximation.
