Special Interest Groups or SIGs, are common interest groups conceptualised with collaboration and synergy to engage with alumni across 40+ countries while contributing to their lifelong learning, based on common interests.
Started in 2016, the journey began with five SIGs- Startup and Entrepreneurs, Technology, ISB for Good, Family Business and Healthcare which were joined by another six thereafter – Human Capital, Manufacturing and Operations, Real Estate and Infrastructure, Public Policy, Business Analytics and Finance.
2020 saw the inception of the new SIG team structure wherein the previous Moderators who had contributed substantially in making SIGs what they are today were elevated as Advisors and a new team of moderators joined in. The new core team of SIGs consists of 55 alums. (33 Moderator and 22 Advisors)
The ISB Alumni Business Analytics Special Interest Group is a platform to bring together alumni members from the Business Analytics space to share experiences and industry best practices and provide networking opportunities to all group members.
The ISB Alumni Manufacturing & Operations SIG is a platform to bring together alumni members from the manufacturing, operations, supply chain and logistics space to share experiences, best practices and provide networking opportunities to all group members. The SIG closely works with the Munjal Institute for Global Manufacturing (MIGM) and the alumni of the Advanced Management Program in Manufacturing and Operations (AMPMO)
The ISB Alumni Technology SIG is a focal point for learning in the technology space. Join us if you are passionate about the intersection of business and technology, and want to interact with, learn from and share your knowledge with your peers as well as leaders in the industry.
The ISB Alumni Healthcare/PharmaSIG is a platform to bring together alumni members from the Healthcare/Pharma space to share experiences and industry best practices and provide networking opportunities to all group.
The ISB Alumni Entrepreneurs/ Startup SIG serves as a forum to bring together alumni members from the startup ecosystem, including alumni running their own startup/entrepreneurial venture, alumni working with a startup, VC/PE firms, corporations that engage with startups (legal, accounting firms, training firms, etc.,) and angel investors.
The ISB Alumni FaB Network is a platform for alumni from family businesses to connect with each other and continue to stay engaged with the School, through a variety of knowledge sharing and network building initiatives. The FaB Network is guided by its founding mentors: Adi Godrej, Chairman-Godrej Group & Chairman of the Board-ISB and Sunil K Munjal, Joint Managing Director-Hero MotoCorp Ltd & of the Board-ISB.
'ISB for Good' Special Interest Group has been created to bring together alumni social entrepreneurs/alumni working in the social impact sector
The ISB Alumni Public Policy Special Interest Group is to provide a forum for alumni to explore the intersection of and relationship between business, government, and politics domestically and internationally. The SIG will work closely with the Bharti Institute of Public Policy and the alumni of the Masters Program in Public Policy (MPPP) .
The mission of the Human Capital SIG is to create an ecosystem at ISB, which focuses on and strengthens the role of HR as a business driver, and enables ISB to become a pre-eminent institution in the space of Human capital.
The ISB Alumni Real Estate and Infrastructure Special Interest Group serves as a platform where we bring together alumni - from real estate and infrastructure sector as well as related funds , utilities and EPCs - strengthening networks and promoting meaningful discussions on topical issues and trends in the sector. The SIG will work closely with the Punj Lloyd Institute of Infrastructure Management at ISB and the alumni of the Advanced Management Program in Infrastructure(AMPI).
