Actively work with the Executive Director in achieving the research, publication, knowledge dissemination and practice impact through thought leadership goals of the Centre |
Job Outline |
- Research o Developing a Research Agenda consisting of multiple research themes on family business and related areas in consultation with Executive Director o Managing collaborative research projects with external organisations and individuals o Independently work with leading researchers on family business and related topics o Conceiving and taking up research projects in an individual capacity wherever appropriate o Leading a team of researchers to build a research database, conduct primary survey and undertake empirical research o Planning, guiding, and monitoring the activities of the team of researchers and preparing them for PhD programs o Preparing research papers for high quality academic publications o Preparing White Papers and Monographs based on empirical research - Teaching/Advisory and Impact o Identifying opportunities for developing case studies and preparing cases and teaching notes o Participating in and Organizing workshops and conferences to disseminate research findings o Identifying and interviewing family business stakeholders, editing and finalizing content for the Family Enterprise Quarterly of the Centre o Establishing and maintaining required internal and external relationships and engaging in collaborative work with faculty and scholars within and outside ISB, family business professionals, and other relevant individuals and organizations in consultation with Executive Director - Design and formulate strategy for conferences, workshops, round tables, seminars, webinars, etc. offered by the Centre - Independently work with leading researchers in the area of family businesses. - Build a network of family business scholars in India and abroad
