Ms Vanitha Datla is the Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of Elico Ltd., a pioneer in the Analytical Instrumentation Industry sector. She is an astute businesswoman with experience spanning diverse sectors such as Financial Services, Insurance Services, Cement, Power, Security Printing, Instrumentation & BPO services, and stints in USA and India.

Vanitha was elected as the first Chairperson of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for the newly created state of Telangana in 2014 and continued for a second term till 2016. She has served on multiple Corporate and Academic Boards across the globe in a leadership capacity and continues to do so. 

Vanitha is also enrolled in a doctoral-level program at the Indian School of Business to research the challenges of women in family enterprises. She was awarded a Silver Medal for standing second in her graduating PGDBA class at ICFAI Business School and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. She has also won multiple awards such as the “Super Women of the Decade 2010-2020 Award” by Hi9, Hyderabad, and the “Women of Excellence Award” by the Institute of Public Enterprise, Hyderabad.
