Amaira Mittal is a first-year undergraduate student at Plaksha University, Mohali, currently navigating her Freshmore curriculum with an interest in majoring in Data Science, Business, and Economics. She believes that real change doesn’t always start with grand gestures—it’s often the small, consistent actions that create the biggest ripple effect.

She was an active part of the Harit Kranti Tree Plantation Drive in Jaipur, where her team set out to plant 100,000 trees—and actually did it. Seeing an idea turn into reality, one sapling at a time, reinforced her belief in collective effort. As the Youth Director at Cinema on Wheels, she is working to make education more accessible in rural India by bringing learning to life through mobile cinema.

Sustainability is something she weaves into her everyday life, from mindful consumption to encouraging those around her to make small but conscious choices. She enjoys being in spaces where ideas turn into action, and where people challenge the status quo.
