Shri M Arun Kumar, Deputy General Manager, holding post of Deputy Zonal Head since 2024, leading Bank’s Business vertical in the Zone for the Telangana State. He is instrumental in bringing changes, ensuring superior corporate customer experience, enhanced customer-employee engagement. While driving business outcome, he is focused on continuous strengthening of Bank brand image and customer experience.

Shri Arun , a seasoned banker with more than decades of experience ,has been with Bank of India between 2005-to-2009 before joining Union Bank in 2009, where he occupied several positions namely, Regional Head of Karim Nagar & Secunderabad Region , Vertical @ Head Office -worked in Corporate & Infra Finance , MSME and Mid corporate segment, Branch Head of Large Category branch etc. During his tenure with Bank of India, helped in growth of Rural Finance, SHG and Financial Inclusion literacy and development and as Regional Head Karimnagar major thrust is given to rural financial literacy and financial inclusion through various flagship programmes of Government of India.

Shri Arun is a post-graduate in Agriculture, ACS (Company Secretary from ICSI), CA IPCC (from ICAI), FRM-1 from GARP and CAIIB from Indian Institute of Banking and Finance. He had also undergone Leadership Development Programme of ISB. He carries with him Corporate credit appraisal skills including Project Funding & Working Capital funding along with Risk Management and also on rural development along with Financial inclusion and Financial literacy during tenure in rural areas.
