After the formal launch in November, the batch commenced in two cohorts of 50 students each from December 2019.
As knowledge partners in the program, ISB delivers academically and helps in market and financial linkages. A brief synopsis of the program is mentioned below.
The program has a combination of classroom/residential and offline sessions (in between classroom sessions) for the students to get a complete understanding of entrepreneurship. In the three residential sessions called as residencies, the students are introduced to various essential components of entrepreneurship such as business finance, account, marketing, negotiation, operations etc. They are also taken to various industrial tours where they interact with companies from various domains, see them operate and have a hands-on learning experience. Experiential sessions by bankers and government stakeholders are introduced in each residency for the students to start working towards a viable project report that has to be submitted at the end of the final residency. The fast-tracked program also has a series of guest lectures from various industry leaders, alumni and faculty giving them insights into the world of entrepreneurship.
All the three (3) residencies and the two offline periods were successfully completed for the second batch of the program by February 2020. Out of 92 students, 67 students have submitted their DPRs (Detailed Project Reports) and are undergoing bank inspections.
The third batch is scheduled to launch later this financial year.
