Swapna is a Case Writer at the Centre and is primarily involved in case study development that aligns with the pedagogical objectives of the school. She is also engaged in preparing teaching notes for faculty across disciplines at ISB. Adept at business research, summarizing, abstracting, reviewing, proofreading, and editing with a keen eye for detail, she also undertakes peer-review of cases developed at the centre.
With 10+ years of work experience in business writing, she authored/co-authored more than 35 case studies that are all available on The Case Centre. Several of her case studies are published in notable magazines, journals, and textbooks and have been used by premier business schools globally. Few of her case studies are also available in the British Library, UK.
Swapna was a co-author for the world’s first photo-based case study. She was a Finalist in the 2012 Dark Side Case Competition organized by the Critical Management Studies division of Academy of Management (AOM), USA.
Prior to joining ISB, Swapna was associated with ET Cases (Times of India) as an Assistant Manager-Research. Previously, she had worked with organizations such as ICFAI, ATE Group and Datamonitor PLC. She holds a Postgraduate degree in Commerce from Osmania University
