Ram is the Vice President of Stryker Global Technology Center in India and is creating an innovation hub and a growth engine for Stryker, while making it a great place to work.Ram Rangarajan brings over two decades of rich and diverse experiences in Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing & Supply Chain. In his current capacity as the Vice President at Stryker, he heads the Stryker Global Technology Center in India and is responsible for fostering key partnerships with various Stryker divisions. He believes in tirelessly getting deeper insights into customer needs and requirements to help serve them better. Ram has always been passionate about working with people hailing from differentcultures and backgrounds. Having acquired valuable insights from his experiences around the world, he strives to become an inspiration to those around him and build businesses that are rock solid. Calling himself a cross cultural enthusiast, technologist,entrepreneur, and a healthcare innovator, Ram lives by the mantra, ‘Play to win, work hard and enjoy life.’PriortojoiningStryker,hehasheldvariousstrategicrolesfordrivinghigh impact projects. Ram has previously worked with Lucent TechnologiesandGeneralMotorsinvariousengineeringroles.Hehasalsospearheaded multiple programs to drive customer engagement, talent development, leadershipdevelopment,technical&executionexcellence,userneedsand product development ecosystem. He has also led the Orthopedic R&D business unit that primarily deals with Joint Replacement, Robotics, and Trauma & Extremities divisions. Ram has been instrumental in contributing towards strategic business outcomes at Stryker. His ability to lead cross-functional teams that collaborate as a focused unit, help the organization to achieve its business goals and drive the evolution of concepts into achievablestrategies.Ram holds a degree in Production Engineering from the University of Madras. He went on to do his MS in Industrial and Management Engineering from Montana. He has also completed his MBA in Global Management from Thunderbird School of Management.
