Unraveling the New World Order post emergence of ‘right-leaning’ global leadership and implications for India.

With the emergence of a new crop of elected leaders across nations, including US, Britain, Italy and France, globalisation, as we have known it, is primed for a reset. Even though since its onset on Nov. 9, 1989, when the Berlin Wall fell, Globalisation has brought enormous benefits with free movement of goods, services, people, capital, technology and ideas, it seems to be under attack today. With the resurgence of protectionist tendencies across the globe, the fundamental principles of globalisation are undergoing a drastic change.

What is the future for globalisation?  What are the new trends that will develop?  How will they impact India?

Professor Shlomo Maital, Sr. Research Fellow, S. Neaman Institute, Technion, Israel and Professor DVR Seshadri, Clinical Full Professor of Marketing, ISB will unravel the answers to these and many other questions dogging managers and entrepreneurs alike in a conversation mode, which is also the crux of their new book.

Professor Sanjay Kallapur, Deputy Dean - Faculty and Research, ISB will unveil ‘Smartonomics for the Global Manager: Simple, Powerful Macroeconomic Tools For Success in an Uncertain World’, co-authored by Professor Maital and Professor Seshadri.
