The Indian School of Business is India’s premier management educational institute and is home to top of the line managerial talent in the country. ISB’s Retail Club aims to provide a platform to the students to learn the dynamics of the retail industry by facilitating increased industry-alumni-student interaction and to address the needs of the Retail Industry for top quality managerial talent. Mercado, the club's flagship event is one of the most awaited events in the students' calendar and provides a opportunity to the students to interact with stalwarts from the industry.

M ercado is a very popular event and more than 400 students have attending the event every year. The event aims at bringing together students, practitioners and academicians from various retail disciplines to offer valuable insights into what Indian retail's future could look like.The overarching theme for this year's event is 'Customer Centricity in Retail - War for wallets and hearts'. The 10th edition of Mercado will focus on the following themes:

The event was a huge success last year with Amit Pande, Head of Collective and International Brands at Madura Fashion (ABG) making the keynote address and the Mercado Fashion show was sponsored by United Colors of Benetton. This event will also be covered by major media houses such as Times of India, Deccan chronicle, Economic times, First post, etc. 


This year’s panel may include the APAC Head – Groupon, COO of Hidesign and others.
