ISB is India’s premier management educational institute; ISB’s Retail Club aims to provide a platform to the students to learn the dynamics of the retail industry by facilitating increased industry-alumni-student interaction and to address the needs of the Retail Industry for top quality managerial talent.
Through Mercado, ISB aims to create an event that explores the world of retail today, especially in context of management and business issues. The main agenda of the event is to bring about fruitful discussions between various parts of the retail industry: by engaging industry stalwarts, academia and students in healthy debate, the event hopes to chart out the future of retail. Every year Mercado is centered round an underlying theme. This year the theme is ‘Changing Trends in Retail’.

Some often undermined aspects of retail that we intend to highlight are creativity and design. These aspects will be brought to forefront through the fashion show.
