Raghuveer Vemala
President

Raghuveer holds a B.E. Degree in Instrumentation and Control from MIT, Manipal. Prior to ISB, Raghuveer has worked in ABB Global Industries and L&T limited. Raghuveer has a rich experience of 10 years in the industry, following varied job profiles across Technology, Operations and Project management & execution. He was head of Instrumentation team for L&T’s first international petrochemical project. At ABB, focussed on Standardization and Lean designs, Manhour optimization, Technology adoption and digitalization. Led the tendering team for Iran Projects, and enabled company’s entry into Iran by winning multiple projects worth 20 million USD. In his free time, Raghuveer volunteers for NGO’s in teaching Robotics to underprivileged kids. He is a triathlete and loves playing badminton, though he does not sing often, he is a trained Carnatic singer.
 

Arun Vikram Singh
Vice President An Industrial engineer by qualification. Have always had an eye for identifying bottlenecks and improvising the processes. Have led numerous projects in the automobile manufacturing industry dealing with efficiency enhancements in various verticals of the company. Some of the major achievements have been:
  1. Re-structuring the entire supply chain of Hero MotoCorp, Gurgaon, to implement the concepts of ‘minimal inventory’ and ‘Just in time’.
  2. Re-lay outing the operational areas of the plant to reduce handling and movements.
  3. Patenting a logistics idea to give the company a recurring annual saving of ~102 Cr.

Kiran S Jose
Events Management and Engagement Coordinator Mr Jose is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from NIT Trichy. He has been working in various facets of Operations and Sales in BPCL, a Fortune 500 Maharatna PSU for almost 4 years, with significant experience in handling Railway despatches, Tank lorry despatches, Barge despatches and Pipeline transfers. While managing the retail chain’s logistics portfolio in Kerala, he had to interact closely with Kochi Refinery, transporters, dealers and labour unions. He undertook cost optimisation drives to improve the turnaround time of tank trucks, to reduce the demurrage charges paid to Railways and many more.  He is also a Chess player with FIDE rating of 1649 and is a Basketball enthusiast.

Anees Shaik
Events Management and Engagement Coordinator

Anees is an Electronics and Communications Engineer from Osmania University. Post her graduation she worked as an SAP Consultant in Accenture and served major German Automotive Clients. She worked on RPA Automation tool BluePrism and automated a reusable Project. She has co-founded an NGO- Team VNC and worked for it all through her Graduation days and post that. She believes in transformation through education and has worked on tutoring Girl Children and volunteered to assist visually challenged persons in writing their Exams. She speaks German and is a trained Kuchipudi Dancer. She likes to Jog or do yoga in her free time.

Chandra Prakash
CAS Co-ordinator

A Mechanical Engineer from NIT Rourkela, Chandra has worked in Tata Motors for 3.8 years. In Tata Motors, he worked in multiple domains such as project management and strategic sourcing. He was directly responsible for sourcing of parts worth INR 20 billion. He attained substantial direct material cost reduction and cost reduction through other strategic initiatives such as VAVE and TCS reduction. As a project manager, Chandra managed key niche projects of Defence sectors and ILCV. He has also worked on Should Costing and Teardown Benchmarking initiatives. A sports enthusiast, Chandra plays basketball and volleyball regularly, and follows lawn tennis diligently.  

Rahul Karkara
Alumni Relations Coordinator

Rahul has 7.5 years of work experience as a Project Manager at Indian Space Research Organization, Bangalore. He was involved with various cross-functional roles ranging from system conceptualization to delivery for onboard applications in Satellite technology. He was responsible for associated operations of 15 Indian satellites each with an average worth of ῀$30M. He received ISRO Team Excellence Award for the sustainable contributions towards Mar Orbiter Mission (MOM), India`s maiden mission to Mars in 2013. In his tenure at ISRO, he outsourced projects worth $1500K with private vendors to attain faster realisation times, carried out procurement activities worth $2.1M for flight grade systems, spearheaded state-of the art technology development projects worth $2.5M and have coordinated with foreign clients such as NASA, ESA etc for various space missions. An engineer from Indian Institute of Space Science & Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, Rahul joined ISRO, Bangalore post his under-graduation. 

Pragyan Trivedi
Alumni Relations Coordinator A Mechanical Engineering graduate from BITS-Pilani, Pilani campus, Pragyan was a Project Manager with Bajaj Auto prior to joining ISB. As a Project Manager, Pragyan managed the overall operations for a diverse product portfolio covering some of the most iconic domestic and international 2-wheeler automobile brands. During his tenure at Bajaj Auto, he was also instrumental in driving key initiatives pertaining to improving process efficiencies and cost savings. In his free time, Pragyan likes to read a book or go for a run.        

Mohan Sai Kiran Palaparthi
Learning and Development Co-ordinator Mohan Sai Kiran Palaparthi holds a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from JNTU Hyderabad. He has around 3 years of work experience in Manufacturing and Oil &Gas sectors. He worked with Allen Reinforced Plastics Private Limited (ARPPL) and TechnipFMC – working in varied functions such as Operations and Engineering Analysis. At ARPPL, he handled the operations and supply chain portfolios for manufacturing components related to defence sector. During this tenure, he worked on streamlining and integrating all the processes and improving the overall operating efficiency. At TechnipFMC, he was involved in performing Finite Element (FE) Analysis on subsea and surface components related to oil drilling and extraction. Outside professional-life, he enjoys playing Table Tennis, Cricket, Badminton and reading novels.

Prudhvi Nadh Channamsetty
Learning and Development Co-ordinator Prudhvi did his B.E. from GITAM, Vizag specializing in Electronics & Communication. Prior to ISB he spent almost 4 years in Mu Sigma as data scientist and a business analyst. Through his experience he handled multiple fortune 500 clients pan industry across the globe helping them solve their business problems. He is a certified decision scientist and is very experienced in the Art of Problem solving and other data analysis platforms. He is also a sports freak and played multiple sports professionally including Cricket, Volleyball, Badminton and Athletics (800m sprint and triple jump)

Team Mohali
Vinay Yerur
President Vinay is a Mechanical engineer and has graduated from R.V. College of Engineering, Bangalore. Post graduation he has worked with Asian Paints for close to 4 years handling various roles in his career. He worked as a Senior Officer, Project management and played an instrumental role in Brown Field expansion of Asia’s largest automated paint manufacturing facility. Subsequently he has gained expertise in maintenance, warehouse operations and procurement function by delivering CAPEX projects, process optimization and inventory management.
He is also a trained swimmer, roller skater, and loves spending time on road-trips. He is a passionate photographer and a certified GermanA1 speaker too.


Sourab Abrol
Vice President

Sourab has over six years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry & has worked in functions such as Operations & Strategy with the world’s largest refinery operated by Reliance Industries Limited. In his last role as the General Manager-Margin Optimization & Production planning he was leading a team of engineers to maximize the refining margins. He specializes in devising long term strategic plans, stakeholder management, techno-commercial evaluation of debottleneck & incremental margins projects. In the past he has led multifunctional teams for inventory management, working capital reduction & product quality improvement.


Apart from sweating the company assets to increase business margins, Sourab can be seen sweating himself in the gym. He is a fitness enthusiast & loves travelling to mountains for leisure.

Ritesh Aggarwal
Alumni Relations Coordinator

Ritesh has 9.5 years of experience working with Engineers India Ltd. providing detailed design engineering of petroleum and fertilizer assets for the major Oil and Gas PSUs in India. He has handled EPC projects costing more than $50m as a piping engineering lead. While his tenure at EIL, he has handled procurement of piping material costing to the tune of  $20M, improved process efficiency by 25% through developing an algorithm to standardize major piping delivery system, prepared tender for a $ 20M contract, and deployed solutions to critical design and operational issues to help the client meet the commissioning deadline resulting into $30M in tax savings. As his last stint in EIL, he led a team of 20 members to design a Urea unit- A project of great national importance.

 Outside his professional life, he loves swimming, playing volleyball and going on road trips.

Vaibhav Yaduvanshi
External Relations Coordinator A Marine Engineer from MERI, Kolkata, Vaibhav has an extensive experience of 7.6 years sailing on different kind of ships. His role in operations covered multiple domains including inventory procurement, risk and crisis management, safety assessment and maintenance scheduling. Through innovative process management and cross functional training, he achieved a cost saving of 20k USD and reduced overhaul downtime of the ship by almost half. As a merchant navy officer, he has worked across the world where he led cross cultural teams of eight nationalities. Outside work, he is an avid book reader and lawn tennis enthusiast.

Hardik Dixit
Events Coordinator Hardik is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from NIT Warangal. Post graduation , he has worked in Applied Materials, a semiconductor equipment manufacturer, for 3.8 years. At Applied Materials, he has worked in multiple domains such as  New Product Development ,should costing and Operations. During his stint at  Applied, he has worked on key initiatives pertaining to improving process efficiency . He has also worked as Political consultant ,formulating campaign strategies for one of the National Party.  Outside work, Hardik avidly follows Indian political affairs.

Kumar Shrey
Events & Marketing Coordinator Mr. Shrey is a Production Engineering graduate from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. Shrey was working as a Project Manager in Maruti Suzuki India Limited for around 4 years, prior to joining ISB. His work area was focused on new model launches and includes some of the most successful brands launched in recent years. He attained substantial productivity improvements through mitigating bottleneck and flow optimizations. A sports enthusiast, Shrey plays badminton regularly and yearns to try one new sports every year. Apart from this Shrey enjoys exploring new places and is a movie buff.

Neel Joshi
Learning and Development Coordinator B.E in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, Manipal. Prior to ISB, worked for 4.9 years as a product developer at Michelin in India, US and France. Designed and Developed mobility solutions for commercial vehicle users in Asia, Africa and Oceania.
Led the development of Michelin’s flagship 20” product line in India. Experienced in Finite element Analysis, FMEA, Design thinking and project management. Fluent French and Farsi speaker, quiz buff and love watching sports : Football and Cricket.
