WHY PGP? AND WHY ISB?

Coming from a technical background and working with one of the world’s leading banks, I have had the opportunity to work with clients across the world and deliver optimum solutions for real world banking problems. The business aspect of the organization was always fascinating for me and I wanted to make the transition into cross functional roles. Understanding the rules and dynamics of management was the natural next step and this was where PGP would help me.

ISB is a great fit because of its’s global faculty and diverse student body. With a wide range of electives, focus on industry learning and the best alumni network, it truly makes for a great year of transformation, both personally and professionally.

WHAT ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AND FOCUS AREAS THIS YEAR?
As Director of the Career Advancement Council, the core team and I will work to bridge the gap between the students and the administration teams. With a strong focus on the interests of the cohort, we aim to get the most out of the placement process by debunking myths and putting in place a clear roadmap of high gain activities.
WHAT IS IT THAT YOU WANT TO LEARN AND BECOME MORE PROFICIENT AT DURING YOUR STAY AT THE ISB?
I wish to specialize in strategy and organizational behaviour while expanding my business acumen. I look to gain the most from the world class faculty and from my peers at ISB and put these lessons into practice be it while competing in corporate competitions or while leading a core GSB team.
WHAT SUGGESTIONS WOULD YOU LIKE TO GIVE TO A PROSPECTIVE STUDENT ABOUT ISB?
ISB has the best alumni network who are always willing to offer valuable insights. Along with doing basic groundwork on the various courses offered by the school and career opportunities post PGP, I would strongly recommend connecting with the alumni to get an even better idea of the school.
