Mr. SarangKanade, is CEO - Upper North for BhartiAirtel.  Mr Kanade joined BhartiAirtel in March 2010 as COO Upper North Region and the hub received various accolades in his leadership.  He was instrumental in driving the region’s growth and increasing revenues.  He has managed large teams, built successful businesses for the UN Hub from ground up and created organizational excellence.He was promoted as CEO in Feb 2013.  Mr Sarang has over 18 years of varied experience in marketing effectiveness, strategy planning & implementation initiatives. He has formerly worked with companies like Marico Ltd and RPG Retail(Spencers).  Mr Sarang is a Mechanical Engineer from Sardar Patel College of Engg, Mumbai & also obtained Post graduate Diploma in Marketing from NarseeMonjee Inst. of Management Studies

Sandeep Gudibanda

Co-Founder & Director of Business Development, NephroPlus
Sandeep has been a budding entrepreneur for a number of years and has spent considerable time in Social Entrepreneurship focused on Palliative care for Cancer patients. Here he was also involved in spreading awareness for Cancer prevention by interfacing with numerous NGOs in Karnataka.
Sandeep and Vikram’s vision to redefine Dialysis healthcare delivery in India has culminated in the form of NephroPlus. Sandeep wishes to achieve this benchmark in 3 years and he promises that NephroPlus is just the beginning.
Prior to founding NephroPlus, Sandeep was running an internet based startup JobeeHive for 2 years. He also worked at Aventail InfoTech, a U.S based telecom start-up as a Product Marketing Engineer. Prior to that, he was a Software Engineer with Huawei, a Chinese telecom giant. His solid Information Technology background is of significant value in integration of IT into healthcare which is the need of the hour.
Sandeep is a Computer Science Engineer from the R.V College of Engineering in Bangalore and a full time MBA from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. He is an avid marathon runner and loves to field on a cricket ground! Favorite pastime is with his pets – fishes and birds!

Manish Maheshwari

Manish Maheshwari leads the txtWeb initiative globally, an initiative that aims to transform the lives of over 3 billion people worldwide who have been shut out from digital technologies up to now, but have access to mobiles. txtWeb enables anyone with a mobile phone to discover and consume the content just by SMSing keywords (very much like entering domain names into internet browsers) or search terms to one national number and receive back the information. txtWeb has won mBillionth and NASSCOM awards for innovation. Manish has been featured in theWall Street Journal, has presented at TED and has been profiled on many blogs. Manish relocated to India in 2011 and is part of Bangalore’s vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem, where he mentors consumer technology focused startups. 
Prior to this, Manish was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company in New York, where he advised Fortune 500 companies, start-ups and government bodies. Previously, he worked at Procter & Gamble (P&G) in Asia, starting his career in Mumbai, India and then running P&G operations in the Philippines, China and Singapore.
Manish holds an MBA with honors from Wharton Business School, where he served on the Wharton MBA Admissions Committee, was elected Co-President of the Asia Club and won Shils-Zeidman Award, the highest award for Entrepreneurship at Wharton. He also served as an Economic Development volunteer in East Timor under the Wharton International Volunteer Program. He holds an undergraduate honors degree from Delhi University’s Shri Ram College of Commerce.

Stephen M. Sammut

Stephen M. Sammut is a venture partner focused on special projects for the firm (Latin America, the Middle East, Japan and emerging markets). During his career he has been involved in the creation of nearly 40 biotechnology,Internet, and information technology companies. His experience includes Vice President of S.R. One (the venture fund of Glaxo SmithKline),Vice President of Corporate Development at Teleflex Incorporated, Managing Director of Technology Transfer at the University of Pennsylvania, and Founder and CEO of one of the first and largest transplant organ banks in the United States. He is on numerous Boards of Directors and Advisory Boards, including Mitsubishi International Corporation,Combinent BioMedical Systems, Gentis, and Dynamis Therapeutics. In addition, he is on the boards of the Cornell University Research Foundation, the Massachusetts General Hospital Technology Transfer Committee, and the American Type Culture Collection. Mr. Sammut holds an academic appointment as Senior Fellow in Entrepreneurship and Health Care Systems at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he teaches courses on venture capital, private equity in emerging markets, intellectual property strategy, biotech entrepreneurship, and private sector participation in global health. He is also an advisor to the joint MBA/Masters in Biotechnology Program.
He holds graduate and undergraduate degrees in biological sciences and humanities from Villanova University, attended Hahnemann Medical College for two years, and holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Dhruv Bhalla

Dhruv Bhalla is currently Vice President at Srei, and is overseeing the International Business Development for the Group.   He holds a BA in Business Economics from The College of Wooster, USA and a MSc. in Finance and Investment from the University of London, UK.  
Dhruv has over 11 years of experience with a mix of industry and consulting exposure. He specializes in business planning, project development and strategic analysis with a strong focus on Macro and Micro economic theories. He has a strong understanding of government policy and regulation, as well as developments in the financial industry. His area of work includes Strategic Planning and analysis, financial advisory, market assessments, SWOT analysis & due diligence in various projects in infrastructure sector. As part of his portfolio, Dhruv is spearheading SREI’s international expansion in identifying acquisition opportunities across power, telecom, and infrastructure development, as well as playing a vital role in its fund raising initiatives.  He has also authored a book on Investment Opportunities in Infrastructure Sector in India which has been critically recognized by various international trade bodies such as Rustrade and the Indo Italian Chamber of Commerce.
Prior to joining Srei, he was with the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFAIT) as Trade Commissioner for India (Eastern Region). As part of Dhruv’s portfolio with DFAIT, he was instrumental in bringing in a host of Canadian companies across the mining, hostpitality, infrastructure and healthcare sectors. He was instrumental in increasing trade significantly between Canada and West Bengal (as well as the 6 sister states). He has also worked with organizations like Hewitt Associates (US), Deloitte (US), Pricewaterhouse Coopers (India) KPMG (India), and UBS Paine Webber (US)

Vijay’s has over 17 years of consulting experience spanning strategy/ business planning and operations transformation. Mr. Subroto Chattopadhyay is a Co-Founder of The Peninsula Beverages and Food Company, The Peninsula Studios and The Peninsula Centre for Knowledge and Insight.
He serves as Independent Director on boards of companies that have global reach and interests in health care, retail, consumer products, mobile VAS, NBFC and food packaging.
His executive career spans over diverse businesses including FMCG and entertainment and has led turn around in competitive categories. He has served as Managing Director of HMV Saregama, Executive Director PepsiCo India, and Head of Exports at ITC Limited (Cigarette Business). Kannan Gopalakrishnan

Kannan has strong performance credentials in the Consumer Goods and FMCG space in general management, marketing, sales & distribution and retail functions. He delivers profitable growth by being consumer centric and commercially focused.
Kannan is currently, Director – Retail for Nokia in India. Nokia Retail is a substantial part of Nokia’s business in India and would be one of the largestretailer, if it was a standalone retail business. Nokia in India operatesa large network of mono-branded stores with franchisees under the name ‘Nokia Priority Partner’ and ‘Nokia Priority Dealer’. He has been instrumental in re-energising Nokia Retail in the context of the rapid changes in the mobile business and Nokia brand in India.
Prior to Nokia, Kannan was Managing Director for adidas in Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia and turned around and grew the businesses to leadership positions in these markets. In separate roles, he was also Head of Retail and Head of Strategy for adidas in South East Asia. He was a key member of the team that set-up adidas in India and rapidly grew the business to a market leading position.
Kannan started his career in Sales & Marketing with the Unilever Group in India. He is passionate about brands and Consumer Behaviour. He believes in internal Change Management to help improve the consumer experiences with the brands.
Kannan has a PGDM in Marketing & Finance from IIM, Calcutta and a bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from REC, Tiruchirapalli.
