Venkata Karthik Rapaka
Associate Director
Karthik Rapaka is currently working as an Associate Director at Indian School of Business. His role involves adding value to management research, education and outreach activities in partnership with state/national governments, corporates and the start-up ecosystem.
In the last decade, Karthik has fully applied himself in solving complex organizational, operational and ownership challenges in both non-profit/education NGO and corporate environments. Prior to his current role at ISB, he was heading Teach For India in the Hyderabad region leading a staff team of 150 educators and raising over USD 1 Million towards the cause of providing excellent quality education to 5000 children across 45 government and low-income schools. For two years, he was also a full-time teacher to 45 first-generation school going grade II & III children at an under-resourced school in the Subjimandi Karwan area of Hyderabad old city. He moved back to India in 2012 after working as a management consultant with​ Deloitte Consulting LLP ​and clients across a dozen Fortune 500 firms (Pfizer/J&J/Ford Motor Company/​Wyeth/​American Express/Caterpillar to name a few of his clients)
Karthik completed his undergraduate (B.S – Honors) from Rutgers University where he was a James J Slade Scholar.  He wrote M.S thesis on business models for low-income communities grad​ua​ting with an M.S degree (with $80,000 worth scholarship) from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Additionally, he completed Summer Institute for General Management from Stanford GSB and Social Entrepreneurship Accelerator training from Teach For All.

Mridula Anand
Senior Manager
Mridula Anand is currently working as Senior Manager- Research. Her role involves contributing to Srini Raju Centre for IT and the Networked Economy (SRITNE)’s growth strategies, research pursuits and thorough administration of all research initiatives. She drives the research pursuits and interests of SRITNE and its aligned faculty members. Her role also involves exploring aligned research collaborations by coordinating with external leads/ advisory board members, government bodies and industry associations to identify research opportunities for aligned faculty and create necessary proposals. In addition to pursuing new research opportunities, she manages ongoing research projects to completion through active coordination with external survey administration partners, donor agencies and internal research teams. Mridula is also responsible for research articles to help disseminate the new knowledge created by putting out periodic publications that reflect SRITNE’s unique capabilities and value for practitioners, governments and firms. 


Her interest in Intellectual Property rights led her to work in the area of Innovation in Pharma and Biotech sectors in India from 2011-2013 where she examined the effect of patent reforms  on R&D productivity of firms for the Center for Leadership Innovation and Change ,ISB. On moving to Singapore, she was a legal consultant at TWC2 Legal clinic.


Mridula Anand did her B.Sc. and MSc. from University of Madras. She then did her Graduate degree from Stanford University and worked at the University of Pittsburgh before moving to Hyderabad. Additionally she has a Law degree from Osmania University and holds a Diploma in Patent Law from Nalsar. 
Kiran Kumar A
Kiran is the Manager at SRITNE. He closely works with Senior Manager and Associate Director in the areas of Programmes, Outreach programmes and Conferences for the Centre. He also takes care of SRITNE day to day operations under the supervision of Senior Manager and Associate Director. Prior to joining the SRITNE, Kiran was working as Senior Associate, with the Academic Services and Administration, ISB for 8.5 years and as an Executive Secretary to Associate Dean, Business Affairs with ISB. Kiran has a Bachelors from the Osmania University. Overall he has over 10+ years of Administrative experience.
