To estimate technology adoption and peer performance effects, we use data gathered from a renowned chain of private schools spread across 6 states in India of over 17,000 students from over 50 schools.  We estimate the average effect of adopting a technology based learning experience on the scholastic outcomes of students in primary schools and juxtapose the results with the moderating effect of peer performance on a student's scholastic outcomes.

My research interests lie at the intersection of technology and finance. Specifically, I explore how technology can be leveraged to expand entrepreneurial opportunities. I am currently examining the significance of Equity Crowdfunding, its relationship with the traditional modes of venture financing, and its impact on subsequent venture performance. I also explore the differences in the Start-ups who self-select into Crowdfunding as well as in the investors who choose to participate in this innovative form of venture financing.
