Arunachalam’s current research focuses on the interface between the firm’s marketing capabilities and innovation outcomes. Prior to his Ph.D., he worked in industry as a chief operating officer, executive assistant to the managing director and software engineer.
 
Arunachalam received his Ph.D. (minor in statistics, certificate in quantitative psychologies, 2012) from Iowa State University, P.G.P.M. (marketing & operations) from Great Lakes Institute of Management and B.E. in computer science and engineering from P.S.G. College of Technology.
 
Devalkar, Sripad
Assistant Professor, Operations Management, ISB
Sripad Devalkar’s research focuses on Operations and Supply Chain Management issues in emerging economies, with an emphasis on issues at the interface of Operations Management, Finance and Risk Management. His additional area of research is in agricultural and food supply chains.
 
Sripad has a Ph.D. from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, an M.B.A. from IIM Ahmedabad, and a B.Tech. from IIT Madras.
Gangwar, Manish
Associate Professor, Marketing, ISB
Manish Gangwar’s research interest lies in understanding and exploring marketing issues using quantitative models. His current research explores optimal pricing strategies for frequently purchased categories and digital services.
 
Manish holds a Ph.D. in marketing from the University of Texas at Dallas, an M.S. from the University of Kentucky, and a B.E. from IIT, Roorkee.
Mani, Deepa
Associate Professor and Research Fellow, ISB
Deepa Mani’s research includes the organization of IT and IT-enabled business functions in firms, and assessment of the business value of a broad class of IT decisions and interventions. She serves as an associate editor for Management Science and Information Systems Research. 
 
Deepa did her graduate education at Carnegie Mellon University, and received her Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin.
Nandkumar, Anand
Associate Professor, Strategy, ISB, Academic Director, Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, ISB
Anand Nandkumar explores industry and firm level phenomena that influence innovation – the generation of new ideas and entrepreneurship – distribution and commercialization of new ideas. His research focuses on high-technology industries such as pharmaceuticals, bio-technology and software, and it falls in between Industrial Organization (IO), Economics of Technological Change and Strategy. 
 
Anand’s current work in the innovation stream examines the effect of stronger IPR on different aspects of innovation such as the influence of stronger patents on long-run incentives for innovation or the influence of stronger patents on the functioning of Markets for Technology (MFT).   
Anand graduated with a Ph.D. in public policy and management, with a focus in strategy and entrepreneurship, from Carnegie Mellon University in 2008.
 
Nidumolu, Ram
Clinical Professor, Organizational Behavior, ISB
Ram Nidumolu has a unique combination of expertise. He has been a professor in business schools, a consultant for Fortune 500 companies, a C-level executive, a Silicon Valley and Bangalore-based entrepreneur, and a business researcher. He has advised senior executives at global corporations on how to unlock new opportunities for business growth through new models of business leadership, digital transformation, sustainable business innovation, and other next practices.
 
Ram received his Ph.D. in information systems, innovation and strategy, from Anderson School of Management at UCLA, an M.B.A. from IIM Kolkata, and a B.S. in electronics and communication engineering from Indian Institute of Science.
Pedada, Kiran
Assistant Professor, Marketing, ISB Kiran Pedada focuses on two streams of research. His first stream explores International Marketing Alliances and Mergers & Acquisitions pertaining to firms in emerging markets. His second research stream focuses on Innovation and New Product Development. He had earlier worked in management consulting and corporate strategy. Kiran received his Ph.D. from Texas Tech University and a B.Tech. from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
Seshadri, D.V.R.
Clinical Full Professor of Business in the Marketing Area, ISB, Director, ISBM Asia From 2000 to 2016, D.V.R. Seshadri taught in IIM Bangalore, Ahmedabad and Udaipur. Prior to 2000, he worked in a variety of companies, the last 10 years as CEO. He has been with ISB since 2016. His areas of interest are B2B Marketing, Innovation and Entrepreneurship & Intrapreneurship. He is actively involved with several top corporations, such as companies of the Tata Group and L&T. D.V.R. received his doctorate degree from IIM Ahmedabad, M.S. from University of California and B. Tech. from IIT Madras.
Sohoni, Milind

Milind Sohoni’s research interests span optimization in the aviation industry, supply chain analytics, healthcare delivery and non-profit operations management. Milind holds editor/associate editor positions with internationally top-ranked research journals in the area of Operations Management. He also has several years of corporate experience in consulting and research. Prior to ISB, he worked as research advisor with Delta Airlines. He also worked with the R&D groups at AT&T Bell Lab and Ryder Dedicated Logistics.
 
Milind holds a Ph.D. in operations research from the School of Industrial and Systems Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta.

Prior to holding the position of ISB dean, Rajendra Srivastava was provost and deputy president of academic affairs at Singapore Management University. A highly cited scholar, he is recognized for his contributions to Marketing Strategy, Business Model Innovation and Performance Management, especially in Technology, B2B, and Services in Global Markets. Rajendra holds a Ph.D. and an M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh, an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Rhode Island, and a B.Tech. (Mechanical Engineering) from IIT Kanpur.
 
Singh, Siddharth S.

Siddharth Shekhar Singh’s research broadly focuses on a firm’s ability to achieve sustainable competitive advantage. His other focus is on marketing initiatives such as Customer Engagement, Customer Loyalty Programmes and Online Customer Communities.
 
Siddharth has a Ph.D. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, an M.B.A. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a B. Tech. from IIT, BHU.
Timoumi, Ahmed

Ahmed Timoumi’s research interests include Channel Management, Product Returns, Reverse Logistics and Sales Force Management. Ahmed holds a Ph.D. in marketing from Koç University, Turkey, where he examined different modes of collaboration between a retailer and its suppliers in the management of key retail functions such as Category Management and Sales Force Management. He received a degree in mathematics and physics from Institut Préparatoire Aux Etudes d’Ingénieurs de Tunis, and a degree in engineering from Ecole Polytechnique de Tunisie.
 
Uppal, Abhinav
Assistant Professor, Marketing, ISB
Abhinav Uppal’s research interests lie broadly in using microeconomic theory and game theory-based models to study various problems in marketing. His current research focuses on important and topical issues of Net Neutrality and Retailing in global markets.
 
Abhinav obtained his Ph.D. and M.S. in marketing from Wharton and his B.Tech. in computer science and engineering from IIT Delhi. Prior to his Ph.D., he worked on strategies for algorithmic trading at Tower Research Capital and conducted research on technology for emerging markets at Microsoft Research India.
 
Voleti, Sudhir
Associate Professor, Marketing, ISB Sudhir Voleti’s research focuses on combining data with econometric and statistical methods to explain phenomena of marketing interest such as evolution in the equity of brands across time, valuation of brands using secondary sales data, the sales impact of geographic and abstract distances between products and markets and the performance, productivity and benchmarking of salesforce organizations. Sudhir’s work has been published in Management Science, Journal of Marketing, Journal of the Royal Statistical Society, Quantitative Marketing and Economics and the International Journal of Research in Marketing. He has a Ph.D. and an M.S. from Simon Business School at the University of Rochester, an M.B.A. from IIM Calcutta and a B.E. from BIT Mesra.
Zerrillo, Philip
Professor, Marketing Strategy, Deputy Dean – Corporate and International Relations
Phil Zerrillo has a wide spectrum of research interests, including Product Innovation, Brands in Emerging Markets and Channel Management. He is a veteran of executive education, post graduate programmes and academic administration around the world. Phil has held advisory or dean positions at multiple universities in Asia and the United States, most recently serving as a dean and full professor at Singapore Management University.
 
Phil received his doctorate degree in marketing from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, and his B.B.A. in marketing from the University of Texas at Austin, where he was the winner of the university’s “Outstanding Scholar Award.”
