Agnidhra is an experienced Data Scientist and Data Analyst, and currently working as a Data Scientist at Bharti Institute of Public Policy, ISB Mohali.

With a degree in Computer Science and Technology Engineering from IIEST, Shibpur, Agnidhra has worked previously as a data scientist for companies such as Mu Sigma and TCG Digital, and had made a foray into banking by becoming a Probationary Officer at SBI. By the time he became a Deputy Manager, he knew he wanted to get back to his true love: solving problems with data driven analytics. With exposure to various verticals, from building an early warning fraud detection system for an insurance giant to building a platform to help pharma companies identify patient matches for clinical trials, Agnidhra has worked mainly using Machine Learning in Python, as well as SQL and Excel for exploratory data analysis. Apart from work, he enjoys reading fantasy / sci-fi, playing video games, and watching stand up comedy.

Abhijeet Parmar

Abhijeet is an earth observation expert specializing in geospatial analytics and hazard models. The scope of his work ranges from learning representation, geoscience, computational neuroscience to social sciences. He has over seven years of experience comprising of teaching and research in higher education setup with interdisciplinary outlook. His academic and professional affiliations include Faculty of Geoinformation Sciences and Earth Observation, Netherlands and University of Delhi. He is an active contributor to open source initiative and self-taught ignorant physicist. 

Amrita Chakraborty

Before joining the Bharti Institute, Amrita was working as a Sr. Academic Associate (Teaching Assistant) in ISB for the Management and Executive Programmes. Her previous association with IIM Bangalore as an Intern introduced and equipped her to the research areas of Finance and Accounting and have been strengthened with her experience at ISB. Amrita's interests are in the areas of Corporate Governance, Initial Public Offerings, Financial Modelling & Investment research, Financial Analysis and Valuation. She holds an MBA in Finance from School of Management, KIIT University. She likes to play tunes on her Sitar when not working.

Anjali Kohli

She has also completed Bachelor's in Education from Chitkara University. She has 2 years of experience as an HR Professional at Indian School of Business.

Danish Ali Hakim

Danish has done graduation in Interior Designing from the Pacific Academy of Higher Education and Research and a Masters's in Economics with a specialization in Econometrics and Environmental Economics from Mohanlal Sukhadia University in Udaipur. 

His passion for analyzing and playing with data started at an early age when he worked as a Junior analyst in a stockbroking firm in Udaipur.

He has worked as a consultant in Govt. of Rajasthan Planning Dept. where he created rural development index to measure overall socio-demograhic performance at the Panchayat level. 

He was a co-founder and Head of R&D of a Bangalore-based startup where they implemented IBM Watson to help students to recommend courses based on their performances.

Last assignment was with NGO Seva Mandir in Udaipur where he was Monitoring and Evaluation manager indulged in monitoring of forest data and GIS Mapping of southern Udaipur forest land. 

He is a certified GIS Analyst from the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing, Dehradun in Health and Urban GIS. 

Apart from work He is mostly indulged in stock market analysis, metaphysics, astrology-astronomy, solo trips in mountains, and riding bikes. 

Deepti Soni

Deepti Soni is Head Communications at the Bharti Institute of Public Policy (BIPP) at the Indian School of Business, Mohali. She has a post graduate in Advertising and Public Relations from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), New Delhi. With over 20 years of professional experience, her earlier assignments include Spokesperson and Head of Communications at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Regional Delegation covering India, Nepal, Bhutan and the Maldives; Head of Digital Diplomacy and Media and Communications Adviser at the British High Commission in New Delhi. Deepti loves movies, food, travelling and outdoor activities.

Gursharan Singh Dhanjal

Gursharan is an experienced Programmer and a Data Professional holding a master's degree in Information Technology.  

He is currently working as a Senior Data Scientist at Bharti Institute of Public Policy, ISB Mohali. Prior to ISB, he has worked as a Team Lead & Manager in the AI department of Netsmartz, CHD. Within his overall experience, he as worked in a wide variety of roles in the Software industry, Healthcare, and Taxation domain. A large portion of his work revolved around developing data-oriented solutions with involvement in the application's full-stack (front-end & back-end).

He is good at Data modeling, Architecting python backends, Data Management (ETL), Data Wrangling, Planning & Execution of AI solutions. The specific fields of AI which he has worked in are Predictive Analytics, Forecasting, Computer Vision, and Natural Language Processing.

Mohit Parashar

TA cum Analyst

Mohit Parashar holds a Masters degree in Psychology from Department of Psychology, University of Delhi. He had keenly focused on understanding power perception during his post-graduation. He is a public policy enthusiast whose interest lies in observing policy advocacy dialogues from close proximity and mapping intersections between public policy and psychology. 

Prior to ISB, Mohit has worked with Chase India, a leading Public Policy consulting firm based in New Delhi. He had worked in the Technology Practice on client mandates of global tech giants in the domain of AI, Cloud Computing, Financial Management, Online gaming etc.

Mohit has an undying love for the sport of Table Tennis which he has been playing for over 15 years now. 

Nikhat Khalid

Nikhat Khalid completed B.A (Economics Hons) from MCM DAV College Chandigarh and studied for Masters in Economics at the Department of Economics, Panjab University. Currently she is a Research Scholar pursuing her PhD at Department of Economics, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. Her primary area of interest is International Economics and Trade, with focus on Southeast Asian countries and also keen fascination for Development Economics. She cleared UGC-NET in Economics thrice. Nikhat has published three research papers in reputed peer reviewed indexed and national and international journals and presented papers in three national/international conferences in India. She has the honour of being a member of The Econometric Society, New York, Indian Economic Association and Society of Economics and Development (Regd.).

Pramit Gupta

Pramit holds a master’s degree in Marketing from Indian Institute of Social welfare and Business Management and a bachelor’s in Information Technology from West Bengal University of Technology. He is currently working as a research associate at Bharti Institute of public policy. Prior to ISB he has worked in TCS in the Banking sector and in a Bangalore based start-up named Celeriac Technologies as Product Marketing Specialist. He has also done a research internship from IIM Kozhikode. Pramit has published two research papers in peer reviewed journals and has research interests in Quantitative models in marketing, Choice Modelling, Consumer Analytics, Content & Inbound Marketing, Bottom of Pyramid Marketing, Brand Management.

Pramit loves photography, travelling and an avid football fan. He also has a unique interest in collecting fountain pens.

Poorvi Anchalia

Poorvi Anchalia is a postgraduate in economics from Andhra University. She has been awarded the Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Pratibha Puraskar for academic excellence by the State Government of Andhra Pradesh. Her primary areas of interest are monetary economics, real estate markets and the future of the education industry. She has also been researching on the application and repercussions of decentralised finance while framing monetary policy.  She is skilled in STATA, Data Analysis, and Econometric Modeling. Before joining ISB, Poorvi has worked with the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, Chegg India, and has interned with THE HINDU.

Besides being curious about her academic interests, she loves reading, sketching and travelling. She is also a fan of basketball.  

Pranav Prakhyat Garimella

Pranav has a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Sydney. His research focus during the Master’s was climate change policy and specifically, climate change induced migration (which he worked on for his thesis). Pranav previously worked with Ernst & Young in their Government advisory and Transaction Advisory services on projects for the Government of Andhra Pradesh and Government of Telangana. He likes to read on ancient and contemporary history and enjoys the works of Homer, and Tolkein among others.

She has joined ISB as a Content Developer at Mohali. She has worked as a Graphics Designer for 11 years. Her experience incorporated blending a myriad of typography, animation, audio, video and graphic designing techniques. She has also conducted sessions on multimedia software for international batches. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts (painting stream) and Post Graduate Diploma in Animation & Multimedia from C-DAC Mohali. Also, She is Post Graduate in English from Panjab University.

Ripunjaya Chauhan

Ripunjaya K. Chauhan is currently working as TA cum Analyst at Bharti Institute of Public Policy, ISB.

She has over 4 Years of experience in teaching and research. Her research interests include Development Economics, Governance and Public Policy. She is a post graduate in Economics and UGC NET qualified. To delve deeper into Development studies, she did a short-term course in Development Economics from the London School of Economics & Political Science. She likes learning new data science software and techniques; currently working on Python. Apart from work, she likes reading, painting, baking and gardening.

Sangeetha Hariharan

Sangeetha graduated with a Master’s degree in Information Management from University of Maryland, College Park. While pursuing her Masters she also worked as a Graduate Assistant in the Behavioral Lab, at the Robert H. Smith School of Business where she was responsible for end to end management of research studies starting from subject pool allocation to generating reports and capturing things such as participation rates, subject pool utilization, etc. . She started her Career in Clifford Chance LLP, a leading global law firm, where she worked for 4 years at various levels across India, Middle East and Europe in their finance division. Currently she is handling Prof. Ashwini Chhatre’s grants which broadly fall under the umbrella of Forest Governance.

Sridhar Kundu

Sridhar Kundu is a PhD in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University. He has over 15 years of work experiences in research and teaching. He is double post-graduate in Economics and Environmental Economics and has qualified UGC NET in Economics.

At Bharti Institute of Public Policy (BIPP), ISB Mohali, he works as a Senior Research Analyst. Before joining BIPP, he worked as a Senior Research Officer at Centre for Budget and Governance Accountability for about six years and as an Assistant Professor at Symbiosis Institute of International Business, Pune for about 3 years. Along with this, he worked as a researcher in various research institutes such as, Observer Research Foundation, National Institute of Public Finance and Policy and taught undergraduate economics in various colleges under Delhi University as a non-permanent faculty.

His core areas of research are fiscal policies, poverty and inequality, and energy economics. He is good at large scale data management, management of unit level survey data in STATA. He likes to teach development economics, econometrics and public finance. He has publications in reputed journals, and edited book volumes.

Snehal Bhartiya

Snehal holds a BSMS degree from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Pune. In his master's thesis, he created deep learning algorithms for detecting cervical cancer. Before joining ISB, he trained as a data scientist at Sabudh Foundation, Mohali. He now aims to build great data processing workflows, create meaningful insights from data, and applying algorithmic decision making to help organisations make efficient decisions. His athletic life revolves around playing basketball, strength training and yoga. His alter-ego interests are quantitative finance, evolutionary biology and behavioural psychology.

Sukhmani Kaur

While pursuing her Bachelor’s (Journalism) at DAV College, Jalandhar, Sukhmani worked as a freelance writer and reporter for The Times of India (2011-2014), writing on diverse subjects, including promotional content for TOI and ET marketing news supplements. With over a hundred bylines to her credit, and a three-month internship at The Indian Express, Panchkula, she joined The Tribune as Sub Editor (English) in 2016, before the culmination of her Master’s (Journalism) programme. The enriching experience at The Tribune, the largest circulated daily in North India, gave her insights into the handling of everyday news stories, composing news pages and managing sensitive desks. However, qualifying the UGC-NET in Mass Communication in the first attempt, she left the field for academics and joined Guru Nanak Dev University (Amritsar) as a Junior Research Fellow in 2017, pursuing her PhD in a hybrid domain of documentary studies and environmental communication. Her research focuses on rhetorical and eco-critical analysis of award-winning environmental documentaries, placing them into a wider national discourse on environment. Her research paper on ‘Covid Infodemic’ has been published in a globally reputed media journal. She has also worked as a Casual Announcer with the All India Radio (Jalandhar), and as scriptwriter and production manager for award winning short films by Sikhnet International, as part of her personal projects.
