About

In this study we intend to build on the framework developed in the previous study to fulfil the following objectives:

i. Resource needs (costing and workload assessment) for implementing various components of JEET.
ii. Understanding the effect of new government initiatives to augment Tuberculosis elimination.

Methodology

Semi-structured interviews of the involved stakeholders, including NGO staff and programme managers, were conducted to understand the roles and activities in the service delivery model. The discussions allowed an assessment of the workload associated with the scope (frequency, duration, quality) of the activities, and led to an understanding of the activities undertaken. This was utilised for the costing exercise.
