Lakshit Mittal

GSB President

Lakshit brings 8 years of diverse experience in consulting, governance, and startups. A passionate problem solver, he has successfully led large teams, driving impactful changes across organizations. Notably, Lakshit headed the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) team at Ayushman Bharat, led the product vertical at ProcDNA, and built a stellar team at his own startup, Vikalp. His exceptional work ethic is shaped by his early experiences at prestigious firms like ZS Associates and McKinsey & Company.

An avid reader with a keen interest in economics, politics, society, and culture, Lakshit immerses himself in non-fiction literature. You can often find Lakshit playing squash or talking spirituality at the campus.

Uday Agrawal

Director, Academic Affairs Council (AAC)

Uday, a BFIA graduate from Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, University of Delhi, brings a wealth of experience to ISB. As a Senior Associate in Bain & Company's Private Equity Group, he conducted due diligence on multiple target companies in the APAC region. Prior to that, at DE Shaw India, he collaborated with portfolio managers globally and spearheaded a productivity initiative.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Uday is deeply committed to creating social impact. As Co-Secretary at Ekal Yuva, he dedicated himself to educating and uplifting tribal and rural children in his hometown of Gwalior. He has also contributed to initiatives like SRISTI Summer School on Inclusive Innovation and Bridging the Gaps. A passionate traveler and sports enthusiast, Uday can often be found exploring new destinations or engaging in various sports activities.

Jaskirat Singh Gujral

Director, Alumni Affairs Council (ALC)

Jaskirat has worked for 3 years in Consulting roles particularly in Operations Transformation and Change Management across multiple industries. He’s a people’s person and loves interacting with anyone and everyone. Calling him a foodie is an understatement, he is a food romantic. Always up for discussing the best food spots around.

He is very passionate about F1, Music, Tennis, reading and shayaris. He loves helping people, and you probably won’t spot him without a smile ever.

Abhay Choudhary

Director, Careers Advancement Council (CAC)

Abhay is a graduate from DTU with experience in consulting and performance improvement projects. Pre-ISB, he worked at KPMG's Consulting arm, focusing on industries such as infrastructure, manufacturing, and automobile. Prior to KPMG, he gained valuable experience at EY-P.

Through his positions as the coordinator of key events at DTU, including Engi-Fest and social entrepreneurship events such as Soch, Abhay improved his leadership abilities. His initiatives, including Our Voix, have addressed issues such as child sexual abuse and mental health while supervising large teams. Passionate about strategic problem-solving, Abhay enjoys diving deep into complex issues and developing impactful solutions. Outside of his professional interests, he is an accomplished shooter and boxer, holding national-level accolades in 50M Rifle shooting.

Akhilesh Bhatter

Director, Finance and Governance Council (FGC)

Akhilesh is a commerce graduate from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata, who has successfully completed all levels of the CFA exam. Before joining ISB, he gained valuable experience at DE Shaw and CRISIL, where he contributed to buyside investment research for a global asset manager with an AUM exceeding $700 billion. He has also worked on sustainable projects as a part of Enactus during his under graduation. 

 Akhilesh is passionate about value investing and enjoys engaging in discussions on evaluating business fundamentals. Known for his calm demeanour and level-headedness, he is always up for new challenges and experiences.

Ayushi Srivastava

Director, Marketing and Communications Council (MCC)

Ayushi is passionate about leveraging technology to empower everyday lives. As an Associate Product Manager at Soroco for nearly three years, she worked on products enabling Fortune 500 business managers to make informed digital transformation decisions. During her undergraduate studies at IIIT-Delhi, Ayushi’s projects were published at prestigious conferences like CHI, CSCW, and VRCAI, focusing on human-computer interaction. Her internship at Microsoft Research honed her skills in product management.

Her experience spans social impact, education, and gaming domains, collaborating with diverse user personas from low-literate individuals to Fortune 500 CXOs. Outside of technology, Ayushi is inspired by books about women leaders and the cute culture of Japan. She also enjoys photography and videography, capturing cuisines and places.

Munish Thakral

Director, Student Life Council (SLC)

Munish Thakral is a Software Engineer with a total of 3.5 years of work experience in American Express and Reliance Jio. He is an engineering graduate from IIIT Delhi, and also holds a Minor in Economics. He has a profound interest in the area of Product Management, and is exploring the areas of Entrepreneurship and VCs.

On the personal front, he likes to travel, and is enthusiastic about cycling and cricket. With his cheerful and fun-loving attitude, Munish loves nothing more than sipping a cup of tea while diving into deep conversations about life.

Prakhar Bajaj

Director, Operations & Sustainability Council (OSC)

Prakhar is a seasoned hospitality professional with a Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai. He began his hospitality career with the prestigious Taj Hotels' "Golden Threshold Program," which comprehensively covered all aspects of contemporary hotel management. Over the years, Prakhar has honed his operational and analytical skills through esteemed Taj group training programs, including the "Hotel Operations Trainee" program and the flagship "Hotelier Development Program (HDP)."

Prakhar holds certifications in Front Office, Food and Beverage Services and Production, and Housekeeping from the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI). Specializing in Revenue Management during his HDP tenure at Taj Hotels, he earned recognition for his analytical skills and strategic mindset. Notably, he played a pivotal role in integrating chain wide Ginger Hotels' property management system  with distribution channels . During his tenure at Taj Hotels, he received multiple commendations from senior management for his exceptional guest management skills. He also contributed to achieving the highest monthly room revenue of over INR 6 Crores at Taj Coromandel, Chennai, marking a historic milestone in the hotel's five-decade history.

Currently, Prakhar is pursuing his Post Graduate Program (PGP) at the Indian School of Business. He is also a national-level air pistol shooter and an avid photographer, dedicating himself to these passions with the same vigour he applies to his professional endeavours.

Prakhar firmly believes that sustainable operations management is crucial for building future-proof businesses and organizations. He advocates for integrating sustainability into business strategies to achieve success because of sustainability, rather than in spite of it. As a Director, Operations & Sustainability Council, he aims to drive this transformation on his campus and beyond.
