Mission Statement

To groom future leaders of the technology industry, to provide a platform for knowledge sharing and to facilitate the development of skill sets that will enable members from all industries to make a seamless transition into a wide array of roles in technology.

What we do

The last 30 years have seen technology completely transform every facet of business in the global economy. At the Indian School of Business (ISB), the Business Technology Club (BTC) is the place to be if you are interested in technology. We engage in several activities that expand our members’ understanding and application of technology in the world of business:

Interactive Speaker Series

Here at the BTC, we live and breathe technology. We are interested in learning how technology can be applied to solve everyday business problems. The interactive sessions organised by the BTC with the who’s-who of the industry – from entrepreneurs to corporate honchos and from Telecommunications tsars to Semi-conductor savants – help us gain a unique 360-degree perspective.

• Events and networking
  BTC focuses on grooming leaders of the future by providing a platform for its members to interact with industry experts, thought leaders and technology visionaries. The BTC conclave and the technology track at ILS and Solstice provides its members with excellent opportunities for networking with industry stalwarts.

• Knowledge creation
  The BTC explores various channels for knowledge dissemination through its magazine, theInsider, Sunday Bytes and its interaction with the faculty as well as the Srini Raju Centre for IT and the Networked Economy (SRITNE) at the ISB. The structure and content is such that members from all industries that have technology as a central player can benefit from the pool of knowledge. We also work closely with other clubs that have a strong IT presence, such as Healthcare, Manufacturing, Retail, and Consulting to name a few, to spread awareness of the applications of technology.
