Overview

The ISB Consulting Club is a student association, which seeks to equip the student body with resources to make informed decisions on consulting careers, tools necessary to build successful careers in consulting and opportunities to promote extra-curricular excellence. The club anchors these efforts by creating forums for aspirants to learn and imbibe skills and best practices from industry experts and harnessing initiatives that enable students to assimilate the learning into practical application. The club has over 500 members, who come from diverse backgrounds and bring in valuable work experience.

Objectives

  • To equip the students with the tools and resources necessary for careers in the consulting domain
  • To create a forum for information exchange between industry executives and students.

Vision

To help the club members get a sense of the consulting world, understand why it is the right career choice for them, excel in their placements and their career in consulting in the vertical of their choice.

Roadmap

Term 1 and Term 2

  • Preparation of consolidated list of the existing as well as the prospective companies for recruitment.
  • Understanding the core skill sets of the club members and their career aspirations,tracking down the target recruiters based on the core skill set and career goals (both – industry specific and role specific).
  • Organising speaker sessions with Industry experts to make people aware of what consulting is about and the life of Consultants.
  • Organise weekly guesstimate sessions to help people get an early start on their interview prep.

Term 3 and Term 4

  • Approaching existing recruiters for maintaining the relationship, increasing the number of offerings across various verticals and levels.
  • Approaching niche consulting firms for recruitment by displaying the cohort’s core skills, average relevant experience and interest levels.
  • Organising speaker sessions and Panel discussions with Consultants across firms and functions to expose students to the various opportunities available to them in the domain.
  • Preparation of the Pitch Book.
  • Help students understand and analyse the gaps in their profiles by floating a skill template and organise sessions and workshops to allow them to fill those gaps.
  • Organising Resume building workshops and resume reviews to help students be better prepared for the placement season.

Term 5 and Onwards

  • Retrospective analysis of the recruitment process and understanding the gaps and future expectations.
  • Incorporating the feedback from recruiters and club members to optimize future placement activities.

Tejas Ganotra

Tejas Ganotra

President

Tejas Ganotra is a strategy and marketing professional with nearly three years of experience in management consulting, spanning sectors such as real estate, IT, and FMCG. A BCom (Hons) graduate from Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, University of Delhi, Tejas has worked with Nomura Research Institute, KPMG India and EY India, where he led high-impact projects in building management systems and operational advisory for commercial real estate developers. At Nomura, he earned a fast-track promotion and drove 10-year strategic visioning, GTM planning, and market forecasting for global clients across sectors.

Outside the workplace, Tejas has won 8 national business plan competitions and led social initiatives in education and healthcare. A theatre enthusiast at heart, he enjoys directing plays, watching shows, and reading biographies-especially when he's not off exploring new places.

Aryan Garg

Aryan Garg

Vice President

Aryan Garg is a B.Tech. graduate from IIT Delhi (Class of 2022), who continues to explore the intersection of consulting, innovation, and impact-driven leadership. Before joining ISB, he was part of a strategy team in a global startup called ZeroAI , along with being part of an IAS-led team that received the President’s National Award for Excellence in Election Management. He brings diverse experience creating strategies for public policy, startups and data center sector, including leading a $3M National Supercomputing Mission project at IIT Madras.

At IIT Delhi, Aryan was a Senior Consultant and founding team member at the ShARE Club, where he worked on international consulting projects. He has represented India at the Harvard College Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) leading discussions on sustainability. To top it all off, he is also a district-level badminton player and enjoys unwinding over a game whenever he gets the chance.

Divjas Singh

Divjas Singh

President

Divjas Singh holds a Bachelor of Management Studies from Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies. Prior to joining ISB, he worked at Bain Capability Network for 3 years, where he drove growth, sustainability transformation and performance improvement mandates for several key energy accounts in the Middle East. In addition, he co-developed various proprietary intellectual assets that are now leveraged by case teams globally. His passion for consulting led him to co-author Caselette, a comprehensive case interview handbook that has become a widely used resource among consulting aspirants.

At ISB, Divjas is dedicated to fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture through the Consulting Club. In his free time, he loves to play chess, read about startups or talk all things sustainability.

Nikhil Bansal

Nikhil Bansal

Vice President

Nikhil Bansal is a CFA Charter-holder and holds a bachelor's degree in Financial Investment Analysis from Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies. He brings ~6 years of experience spanning asset management and management consulting. He spent over 4+ years with Bain Capability Network and Alvarez & Marsal, where he supported Private Equity transactions through Commercial and Operational Due Diligence. His consulting experience covers a range of industries, including Remote Monitoring & Management, Consumer Products and Financial Services. Nikhil was also featured as a contributing author in Bain's APAC Private Equity Reports for two consecutive years (2021 and 2022).

As Vice President of the Consulting Club at ISB, Nikhil aims to institutionalize the preparation journey by creating a structured, high-impact process through increased industry participation and more accessible alumni interactions. Outside of work, he enjoys long drives, running, trying out new Asian restaurants, and traveling to offbeat destinations.
